Tax, give yourself a break from reading that fucking Telegraph rag and dispense with this obsession with 'wokeness'.

As you full well know, white English folk from the lower end are racist bigots looking for as much as they can get with the minimum of effort so that they can get pissed, junk out on fast food shite, turn their little bothies into pseudo palaces emulating their betters, go on holidayz to Grotos and sport their tattoos under the latest fashion of rags copied from their reality show faux celebrity heroes.

Britain is shite and the sooner it breaks up the better leaving the English to fester in their own parochial slime.

You incorrectly posted about how the Conservative party and the cabinet had more BAME members than the Labour party and the shadow cabinet recently, so I'm not sure you're that good at recognising them.

You certainly don't seem to ever have any numbers.

Agreed, Liverpool does indeed have less than those other areas I mention. Liverpool's issues are much more to do with cronyism, as witnessed by the arrest of the Mayor and four others in the Council last year in a contract corruption scandal. How the people of Liverpool can keep voting Labour beggars belief. Talk about turkeys voting for Christmas.

    An interesting article here:

The amusing feature of the Hartlepool election was that Tory head office didn't let their candidate canvass at all but focused the entire campaign on Bozo ( everyone loves a rascally shagger with a twinkle in his eye and some dried spunk on his fly, eh ) and their token Teeside poodle who paraded his charms as some latter-day economic Lazarus as if anyone with a fucking brain would want to live in that dystopia.
The problem was, and remains, northern Labour voters are Brexiteers and that means unless Labour fully embraces the stupidity of Brexit they will not get elected.

England is now firmly in the Age of The Stupid and if you are not wearing a rosette that proclaims " I'm a fucking retard Brexit moron " you ain't going to get elected unless you are in a demographic that has a majority of folk with functioning brains.

In a 2011 census, only 44.9% of the population of London were white British. In the last 10 years, I believe that number will have decreased.

Manchester's white British population this year is 59.3%.

The point that I'm making is that Labour's policies on equality, promotion of ethnic and minority rights etc, are far more appealing to those areas with large numbers of the target audience. Tough immigration laws, deportations and law and order much less so.

The remark that I made on the BAME members in the Conservative cabinet was about the seniority and influence of the positions they hold.

Your analysis PAG is misleading in that the actual ethnic ( i.e. not Caucasian ) population of the metropolis is in fact around the 36.8% mark. The 44.9% figure relates to those who identify as white British but the remaining balance includes those who identify as white Irish comprising some 16%.

The British immigration laws are among the most stringent in the world and stem from the Immigration Act 1971. Provincial Britain is generally more anti-migrant because their parochial white-centric bias means they are more likely to be racist, bigoted xenophobes which of course is why, like their northern lumpen brothers, they voted to Brexit.

You have that the wrong way round Troy. Jersey sets its own laws and regulations, which in this instance and as is the norm, their criteria for fishing licences were communicated by the UK to the EU. Only when the French threatened to blockade their ports and cut off their electricity supply did the UK become involved to ensure the unhindered operation of their ports.

Liverpool has made history by choosing the UKs first directly elected black female mayor and the first woman to lead the city.

The election of Joanne Anderson was one of the few good news stories for Labour on Friday.

The table from which I took the figure:

Ethnic groups in London - Wikipedia

I don't disagree with your analogy of provincial Britain. However, the point that I'm making is that this lends itself to the polarisation of political leanings and voting, where Labour has become more liberal than the Liberal Democrats. Other European countries, France in particular, have the same problems and none can claim to be devoid of racist elements.

its nothing to do with brexit you obsessed, retarded, bitter and out of touch decrepit old buffoon.

the left has not “lost touch”, because of brexit, with its traditional supporters, it fucking holds them in open contempt just as it does with anyone holding an opposing view.

if you loathe the idea of leaving the eu, and regard all those who voted for it as northern monkeys and stupid bigots, then you are never going to understand what has happened to the traditional labour vote.

those people do not see themselves as traitors, they feel that they and their communities, to whom they are endlessly loyal, have been abandoned and now are patronised for their supposed ignorance and disliked for their distasteful life choices.

and they certainly dont want to be part of labours remedy for wealth distribution in which the permanently poor obtain never ending state funded assistance from the permanently rich. they want a chance to do it for themselves, and only the conservatives can do that for them.
nor are they fans of labours latest wheeze, identity politics and wokeness, which only serves to fracture communities and promote divisiveness.

if they stand any chance of becoming relevant again, they will need to take over the centre ground, which at the moment is firmly occupied by boris, and with labour still being funded and supported by the same old cabal of belligerent trade unionists, gay and trans rights wallahs, smelly teachers, knee taking grovelers, brit hating statue topplers, and demanding minority groups, there is little chance of that.

england has always been centrist, they eschew extremism both from the left and the right, and both middle englanders and us northern monkeys find it abhorrent....... and that's why labour have taken a pounding. corbyn, abbot, maclusky, and macdonald cast long shadows and they haven't gone away yet. voters dont give a fuck for boris' philandering, his wallpaper or his outbursts about bodies piling up in the streets

so its the conservatives for the next few years, with the canny, chaotic and very flawed flag-waving boris leading the charge.

Oh dear, Tax. This wee polemic is really just way tooooo fluffy and wiffley-woffley, and in fact could be lifted straight from the Bozo Telegraph playbook, omnibus edition, " Vacuous Rhetoric for Dummies".

You appear to condemn benefits for the poor yet make no mention of the huge subsidy for the middle classes in propping up the property industry's vested interests. You really are getting quite myopic in your senescence, or is this some form of intellectual glaucoma that has obscured your view of the political landscape where you now see measures favouring the poor and vulnerable as 'extreme' but crony payola cock sucking graft, social kickbacks for the rich and replenishing the trough of plenty for corporate shills and two-bit, money grubbing self serving Tory lickspittles are but the legitimate playground for the 'Centrists'?.

Tax everyone with a functioning brain realises that the credulous northern knuckle-draggers, the estuarine oafs, the provincial parochial bigoted yeomanry and the rural swedehead all coalesced into a homogenised electoral group that fell for the anti - EU propaganda and gifted Bozo an election win because of it, and in so doing has created a new political force, the ethic-free, Brexitory Party appealing to the stupid, the deluded, the ignorant and the merely addled, parochial bigot.

The perspicacious, the intelligent, the cultured and the decent among us know rancid populism founded on cheap jingoism and racism when we see it and this current iteration of British fascism is no different to the 1930s adulation for nazism exhibited by the black shirted Mosleyites, the rotten upper class devotion to Hitler by the likes of Vere Harmsworth and his crew, and the festering prejudices of an island race weaned on clapped out nostalgia for an imperial past long gone.

In truth, watching the northern lower end trash voting for the party that brought them austerity and a decade of misery as the Tories protected their vested interests is more than amusing and restores my faith in the belief that the English are now the stupidest species in the developed world.

Your trumpeting in support of their cause does you credit Tax, even if it is sounding the death rattle of the Conservative Party.

you really do seem to have it in for boris, you have been ranting incoherently about him for years now.

i understand that as an exiled ira supporting bogtrotter you despise the british establishment, and would prefer to see the likes of corbyn and flabbot in power in order to give the "corporate shills and two-bit, money grubbing self serving Tory lickspittles" the drubbing that you seem to think they deserve, never mind that it is they and they alone that have enabled the "working class" to move from their back to back slums into their own homes, to ditch their bicycles and bus tickets for fords and bmws, and take their holidays in bangkok and not butlins. a rising tide will lift all the vessels s.a.

but boris is a winner, a flawed chaotic rebellious eccentric maybe, but he is a winner (he has won the london mayoralty twice, he "got brexit done" and won a landslide election in 2019) and is a big hit with mainstream brits and they identify with his flawed persona, because most people lives are just as chaotic and flawed, and they will always back an eccentric like boris, gushing spunk and derring-do in equal amounts, in preference to dour crusty joyless leftists oozing that sickening repellent never ending victimhood based virtuousness, and maybe that is why you hate him so much being a joyless repellent vindictive sort of chap yourself.

lefties always prefer losers to winners, losers that they can hug and suckle as they wallow in their victimhood, losers who will become dependent after having all vestiges of responsibility, self reliance and ambition taken away from them. losers they can shower with small change as they peddle their pound shop politics and their hate for success and their hate for england.

after years of mediocrity in the shadow of the eu and the franco german hegemony, brexit will turn out to be the making of britain, might take a year or two, but it will prove to be the best thing that happened to us for decades, and it will be boris that takes us there.

as for socialism as proscribed by the british labour party, pah, it has never ever worked, and never will. it will drag everyone down to the same level. they are a fucking 19th century joke.

I think leaving the CM was a big mistake financially for the UK,

but politically, the UK is better off to be independent, it could never integrate politically with the rest of the EU

it's too strong in cultural terms to mix with the rest of the EU in a post-war environment, and then you have the Queen and the strong dependence of the Brits with their royalty, the need for British identity has never been so strong, and in a cultural diluted global world, I can understand the need for the Brits to take back their national identity

but here is the irony, what they are doing is actually self-isolating, and creating their own self-destruction by trying to protect something that can't be salvaged in a new brutal world

TBH, not sure there is a solution to save this great culture from complete annihilation

An interesting case of reverse perception, the bigot becomes the object of his prejudice.

It's truly bizarre how Brexitmania has affected the national psyche and distorted its thinking to the point that the lumpen stupid, their charlatan demagogues and corporate, carpetbagging shills all seem to have suffered collective amnesia.

Anyone might think that Blair's three consecutive Labour election victories, the longest boom in British economic history, the establishment of peace in NI and the restoration of the NHS with a burgeoning GDP growth and increased home ownership had never happened at all.

But you Tax, guzzling from the sink tap of Tory cronyism, have yet again failed to understand what has happened in the Brexit aftermath and like all tinpot economic phoneys praying on the altar of populism you are trying to rewrite history to suit your creed of deception and corruption.

The Brexit demographic are largely drawn from the lower end, the less educated, the more stupid and the bigoted constituency that in the northern wastelands were traditional Labour voters who when combined with the southern provincial oaf and estuarine oik, traditional right wing reactionary Tory voting scum, gave the Tory ERG dross their famous victory. In translating that into political power Bozo, without an ethical principle in his corpulence other than to further his sociopathic ego, saw his opportunity to seize power and converted the northern dross from working class Labour voters into working class Tory voters.

And how has he achieved this? By convincing this rump of the stupid, the ignorant, the ill-educated and deluded that Brexit will give them riches, bounteous jobs and an unending consumerfest funded by the inexhaustible supply of public funds that his Brexitory Party will shower upon the nation.

And that's the rub, Tax, but you are quite simply too stupid to see it. Brexitory Boy has become the new socialist using central government to subsidise the economy by interventionist measures to finagle outcomes benefiting their traditional carpetbagging, tax-evading donor class but cleverly using the credulous lower end as the donkey vehicle for their sleaze.

Nothing new under the sun, but in the end the greedy and gluttonous avaricious will eat themselves to death as they gorge like parasites on this new body politic and inevitably the country will crash into the buffers of its economic delusions.

The point is, the union has fractured, the Scottish sense freedom with purpose and what will be left is what it is - a state that is indebted more than it has ever been, where its wealth is driven from services and little else but a state which has cut itself off from its traditional economic markets established over four decades to be replaced by delusions of grandeur confabulated from cheap rhetoric and a doctrine of fantasy that the world is queuing up to trade with a country that in truth makes very little and offers even less.

When those northern knuckle draggers get no jobs, when the wealth proves as illusory as all Bozo's promises and they realise that the benefit tap is now turned off because the middle classes need their property subsidies and tax breaks, they'll turn on Brexitory Boy like ravening wolves.

The English are conservative by nature and they like their bigotry and their prejudices to keep them warm but above all they want their welfare state to be there when times gEt hard and when they realise it has been bankrupted by Brexitory Boy then there'll be a reckoning.

Britain's infrastructure was crumbling before COVID, the NHS had been denuded of resources for a decade and manufacturing has shrunk further as the post crash austerity programme bit deeper into disposable incomes. Nothing has changed except now Britain has re-erected barriers to commerce with its nearest neighbours, a market accounting for half of its manufactured output crippling hundreds of SMEs and devastating whole sectors.

The volte face in this Bozo "levelling up" is of course the news that any spare crash will be used for the NHS and that taxes will rise which given the freezing of tax allowances will hit those knuckle draggers harder than the carpetbagging shysters and crony Brexitory capitalists.

Tax, it's all a lie. Brexit was a car accident, Scotland is verging on independence, NI is heading back to civil war and that national debt is humongous.

Brexitory Boy has taken the country back to the dark ages but you idiots just can't see it.

Grasping tory bean counters like tax pretend that period has just been airbrushed out of the UK's political history.

Dimwits like chitty have to go back to a time before most of the current electorate were born to try and pretend that sums up what the Labour party is.

Seems spot on . . . and many who voted for the idiotic idea of 'Freedom from Brussels' around the UK are regretting it now that they realise what they were led to believe was nothing but propaganda, pandering to the lowest common denominator and a desperate grab for power.
Worse yet are the halfwits living in the sunny climes of southern Europe who thought and maybe still do that nothing will change for them.

Ah well, deed done. Live with it . . . Scotland will bugger off next as a result of this meschuggeneh act of desperation.

It always takes some time with these people, and they are still at the 'Breathing through mouth, vacant look in eyes' stage.
