Let me spell it out in business speak. You don't invest time and effort in non starters so an absence of proposals tells you something. Now the absence of funding in large infra suggests two options; 1. The UK is shit at putting proposals forward and our neighbours are better. Or 2. We have infra that is the envy of the world and no investment is needed. Except we know billions are being thrown at London alone with its creaking infra so perhaps we tested the water before submitting proposals and got fuk'd off. I thought we weren't allowed, by law, to leave on 31st October due to a law being passed saying we couldn't leave if a deal hadn't been negotiated. Not Boris's fault as far as I'm aware.

Lom, no one on here cares what you think about Britain, you're as relevant as the German Sausage teaser. A few years set against the history of the UK thats what this so called disaster is. In the future it will largely be remembered for the UK becoming its own self governing state again, be nice if it was sans Northern Ireland and the EU is welcome to Scotland but one thing at a time eh.

Its funny how the most vocal on here bemoaning the so called mess the UK is getting itself in have nothing to do with it. I am looking forward to the next 5 years of disaster and the sky falling in. Remainers are consigned to history like the Labour party, just keeps getting better.
