i mean the entire country....this has been playing out for 3+ years...if by this point someone in the UK hasn't reached an opinion on the then they're not going to....and if they haven't thought critically about potential outcomes/consequences of remain or leave, then they're not going to....and if they're still not inclined to vote then they should have to live with the outcome.

Indeed, The British electorate have been waiting a campaigning for over 20 years.
The first significant gains were several years ago when UKIP swept the board in the EU elections.

Hence Cameron conceeding to public demand and giving a referendum.

EU ambassadors have agreed to delay Brexit, but will not make a decision on a new deadline date until next week.

The European Commission said work on this would "continue in the coming days".

The talks came after Chancellor Sajid Javid admitted the government's deadline to deliver Brexit next Thursday "can't be met".

Boris Johnson said he was waiting for the EU to decide "what they want to do".

MPs are expected on Monday to consider the prime minister's call for an early general election.

Mr Johnson says he wants to hold one on 12 December, if the EU offers a Brexit delay until 31 January.

But the chances of enough MPs backing the motion - which requires the support of two-thirds of the House of Commons - appear uncertain, with Labour not committing to how it plans to vote.

Stupid question, Chitty. The UK's trade with the EU accounts for about 13% of its annual GDP, vice versa it is a mere 3% of the combined EU GDP. The annual EU budget is around £155 billions, a sum that equates to just 1% of its gross combined national income, with the UK contributing a discounted £10 billions.

In essence, the departure of the UK is more nuisance value except in the context of Ireland and the GFA, the maintenance of which is pivotal to both that member state and the province of NI. Taking BMW as an example, of its entire global market about 9% of its production is sold in the British markets, however the imposition of 10% tariffs on imports will have marginal impact but if there is to be a loss then any shortfall can be absorbed by increasing market share elsewhere. France of course enjoys a beneficial trading relationship with the UK in its agricultural markets and French farmers will take a hiit but again in the context of its own scale one must appreciate that France accounts for over 30% of the combined EU agricultural output and so some reduction in a few British cheese and wine parties ain't going to matter too much.

The demagogic ERG/Kipper nutters have always oversold Britain's position in the EU and its value to it, in much the same way other world market potential has been stupidly exaggerated.

However, the deleterious impact of Brexit on the UK will be considerable in financial terms alone, with losses expected to be in the region of £60 billions annually - the Brexit suckers don't seem to realise that the transitional phase only encompasses negotiations on the trade in goods, services are not included and cannot be since that market sector is only accessible to EU member states - only 10% of Britain's GDP is derived from its industrial output in manufacturing, but 80% is driven from services. The City of London with its right to trade in the financial markets of the euro etc in the EU yields a revenue of around £30 billions annually which will suffer as those services are denied passporting rights.

Car manufacturing and the airline industry in the UK generate over 150,000 real jobs but as the impact of a xenophobic and de-regulatory, anti-EU, biased Tory government hits home and they continue their pursuit of world unicorn hunting in preference to reality, these industries are inevitably going to shed those jobs as the EU flexes their own muscles and treats the UK as fair game in the hunt for competing profits.

And of course one cannot quantify the inevitable losses that will accrue from the adverse effects of perhaps the worst government in living memory led by a sociopathic, sex-addicted, narcissistic buffoon whose laziness is only exceeded by his vaunting bombastic posturing in affecting impressions of some latter day Churchill.

Brexit is Ebola and it will destroy the union and the Tory party so maybe it is a good idea after all.
