You truly are vying for the top slot as the stupidest poster of TD, and that is against some pretty stiff competition.

    Pitiful, really, quite, quite pitiful.

Is there anyone out there who could enlighten him?

You are going out of your mind Tax.
far from it. politicians, like the rest of us have flaws, and an honest, perfect, unambitious easily satisfied politician would never rise to the top.the ability to creatively distort and to outsmart and disarm ones opponents and competitors are excellent qualities for any politician. politics is a dirty game and needs wily and savvy players not afraid of pushing their luck.

p.s. priti patels fact finding exercise was hardly a hanging offence. her mistake was being found out.

I"m not sure if the German drop in production has more to do with yet more rules imposed on working hours by unions and stricter adherence to EU guidelines.the unions have managed to severely limit freelancers in times of need, have forced many on to a 35hr week and prevented overstepping the 10 hour rule.

I wouldn't be surprised if this wasn't companies over reacting to these rules in order to get them tempered or revoked.

That's a big fat no then, in answer to a request for proof of your insane and bitter ramblings. If you post again on this thread, everyone will know you're just a sad, disgruntled old coffin dodger who tells fibs professionally.

I honestly don't believe that is possible on the timescale and size of the problem. Sure it's a fair attempt to cover the shortfall, but even the German works councils aren't that stupid. Nice effort Troy but we bth know the issue is far bigger than that.

I'm not sure if it's the Germans following the UK into recession or vice-versa. There's still a huge amount of infrastructure building in Bavaria though. Plenty of money being spent.

The unions are definitely strangling production and it is far worse this year than I have ever witnessed.

Not everyone believes the loons writing in The Express and The Torygraph. I have limited my subscription of the latter to the crossword.

SeekingAss is a Guardian reader, thought that was obvious by the way he parrots the crap written in opinion pieces written by political activists posing as journalists in there.

Well, leaving aside the dribbling puerility of Brexit loons suckling on the teat of BoJo's exhortations to believe in the innate greatness of a Britain populated by prancing unicorns gambolling on sunny uplands - Britain will be stronger than Germany in 30 years, for fuck's sake - let us return to planet reality and observe the market's response to Johnson's ship of fools navigating itself towards the siren Brexit rocks of a no-deal exeunt: £ now $1.2382 and 38.15 baht.

Truly an auspicious sign and yet more evidence Brexit is in fact the most fucked up and stupid move since Suez.

The Brexit coup by the fucking deranged will see near parity with the US$ by October for sure at this rate.

Oh, and I omitted to mention, even with the ECB signal of further QE the Euro to the £, as offered by the High St. banks is now 1.08.

For those not anchored in their provincial British staycations of dreary mundanity, this depressing news of continuing Brexit influenced economic inferiority simply reaffirms its stupidity when one once again reflects on those glorious pre-Brexit days of August 2015 when the £ bought 55 baht, 1.42 euro and $1.55.

Yep, BoJo the Clown's splendiferous cheerydrobes of wonderment are really working and Brexit is truly the greatest economic success in modern times, as every Brit can see - but only if you are a fucking idiot with your pointy head stuck up your silly arse.

You are allowing your turgid imaginatio to rum riot today.
    1. The USD is no longer the worlds reserve currency,. It is not now nor ever will it reach anything like the parity you persistently forecast. As for the Thai baht, I hope it sinks and takes you with it.

You are the one who is stuck with a shaky investment, not me. I can fit my worldly possessions in two suitcases and disappear tomorrow, if needs must. You are stuck in a clearly miserable life and from the way you describe others, you deserve it.

The dollar may not be the reserve currency for those who wheel their possessions around in a shopping trolley, but it is in the rest of the world. That's unless you favour second fiddle and the Euro.

The German central bank prints money and gives it to the EU central bank, the EU central bank gives the money to in-debt countries across Europe so they can buy German goods. The EU central bank has no mechanism to pay the German central bank back the money. The in-debt countries across Europe have no way to cover their debts to the central bank. Consumers across Europe are getting poorer and no longer buy as many German goods. The German central bank debt is passed on to the German people.

    Rinse & repeat.

    What could possibly go wrong???

Brexit means that the EU will no longer get large amounts of British taxpayer money, so everyone will be looking at the Germans to pay more, but they are simply unable to - a perfect storm for the German economy. &, some of the folks on here think that Germany will put up barriers to Britain buying their goods...

Very depressing reading the divers reports today if one is dependent on £ denominated income. The markets are all united in forecasting a UK general election will precipitate as much a fall in sterling as would a hard Brexit. And if this was not grim enough there is a significant possibility that if BoJo and his crew of loony nonentities are of a mind they will succeed in contriving a no-deal exit before that election can take place, a departure from convention that would strike at the heart of the British constitution and may even require reference to the Suprme Court.

The fallout from this insanity will certainly presage a decline for years to come but a £ at 1$ spells ruination for many.

Thank God we bought property here when we did but the future is truly bleak for the British.

The Liberals and Labour are absolutely terrible at this moment in time. Watch these two idiots...

The Liberal leader has said that if there's a second vote and Brexit won again then she'd still try to stop Brexit of any type; basically, the SNP has taken over the Liberal party...

Russia and China began to crowd out the dollar
    July 26, 2019

The share of the dollar in China's payment for Russian goods and services for the first time fell below 50 percent. This is reported by RBC, which belongs to Grigory Berezkin, with reference to the report of the Federal Customs Service.

Last year, the US currency provided 75.1 percent of financial flows between the two countries. But already in the first quarter of 2019 in payments for Russian exports, the dollar surrendered its positions to 45.7 percent.

Dedollarization occurred at the expense of the euro. The volume of operations in it rose to 37.6 percent. However, in the Russian-Chinese trade, the dollar still plays a significant role. Russia pays for Chinese imports mainly in dollars (66.5 percent). Their total share (both exports and imports) in financial flows between countries is 55.6 percent. 7 percent falls on the ruble, 15.5 percent - on other currencies, including the yuan. And only 21.9 percent is the euro.

For the time being, it is difficult for two countries to make payments only with the help of national currencies. Not all Russian banks are ready to work with the yuan. The same situation is in China. In addition, there because of the sanctions, the United States is afraid to make payments in rubles.

^^An ‘absolute face-plant no deal’ as the situation stands.

So much for bungholeboy’s ‘hundreds of micro deals’ bs.
