Britain has always respected the ECHR's determinations which influence its own judgements. That will not change. The ECHR is not part of the EU but Brexit morons often do not understand this because they are stupid, dull-witted buffoons.

The ECJ has been a force for good compelling successive British governments to relinquish practices that protected vested interests and money-grubbing Tory cvunts. Losing it will be a bad thing for the working Joe for sure since they have been the main beneficiaries of ECJ rulings.

Brexiteers are by definition ignorant and stupid people but never is this more exemplified by their oafish parroting of the Brexit loonies' comments on the ECJ.

Before the working time directive was introduced over 2 million Brit workers received no paid holidays and were compelled to work overtime or get sacked. The Tory cvunts tried to stop this but the ECJ fucked those scrawny-arsed bastards right off.

And remember, it worked both ways, it was the ECJ that ruled the City of London had the right to trade in the euro markets even though Britain was not within the currency regime.

The ECJ was often the last bulwark against Tory money-grubbers, now it is to be lost.

The Brexit dross are swallowing so much Tory cock but they are too dumb to realise it.

Fucking stupidest bunch of retarded mofos in Creation.

It would be interesting if May resigns and Bo-Jo takes over and Labour campaign based on a People's vote. A pity May is too stubborn to allow this to happen.

I hear Farage got the pensioners out in Nottingham. Another populist surge with about the same lifetime as those OAPs.

'Populist' goes against the EU grain, while people throughout the Union are waking up to what their leaders have actually signed up to. No need to thank Brexit for that awakening, they would have sussed it out anyway in due course, maybe.

While nobody knows what's going on, we may find direction under a less dishonest Brexit PM. In that respect the country will get what it deserves in spades if the people go full mad hatter and choose our glorious Chancellor to take over when May is outed.

70% of Conservative MPs want May to resign, and Conservatives are voting for the Brexit Party while the Labour remoaners try their hardest to oust Corbyn and turn Labour into the remain party...

All this hating on old people, instead of shitting on old people how about trying to understand why they voted Brexit and try to address their concerns. Nope didn't think so and hence leave will win again.

Peoples concerns should be addressed, but you are not going to achieve that by helping old people to shit on young people or to entertain their antiquated xenophobias.

The UK has a lot of problems ...but Brexit is never going to solve those problems, in fact it will amplify them.

TED Talks: In an unmissable talk, journalist Carole Cadwalladr digs into one of the most perplexing events in recent times: the UK's super-close 2016 vote to leave the European Union. Tracking the result to a barrage of misleading Facebook ads targeted at vulnerable Brexit swing voters -- and linking the same players and tactics to the 2016 US presidential election -- Cadwalladr calls out the "gods of Silicon Valley" for being on the wrong side of history and asks: Are free and fair elections a thing of the past?

I think Brexit and EU are incompatible; either Brexit happens and the EU dies, or it doesn't happen and the EU limps into the second half of 10 years before rolling over. No big deal, empires come and go, except the chaos this beast generates should dwarf all others.

But on the bright side squirrel and fufu will be here to amuse us.

You are completely delusional about the importance of the U.K. remaining in the EU to the EU.

    It's very amusing.

Some of those "old people" gave their lives in various ways to sustain the UK citizens lifestyles for decades. They accepted a contract between the UK government and now, rightly so, demand the UK government live up to their side of the contracts.

Agree, the EU will flourish or fail irrespective of the UK being a member.

Not specifically the importance of the UK, squirrel, also the fragility of the EU, economically, politically, socially, and soon militarily which ought to be fun, though I don't expect you to comprehend such basics.

Fex, ask yourself, having driven Greece into poverty through an unsustainable currency and fiscal policies, why does the EU follow through by throwing hundreds of billions into the Aegean with less than a dog's chance of getting it back? And how many more hundreds of billions will it need to stabilise other poor members on the brink, whilst pushing them towards it? You could avoid a tail spin by counting the reasons, though up on the list would be that the ultimate goal of full integration does not allow for even the lowliest country to back out, since others will invariably follow. And when the leaver is also the 2nd biggest net contributor, while the biggest has already refused to play patsy any more, Brexit becomes a significant blow to an already weakened Empire.

Just wasted a whole 5 minutes on you, now waiting for your other half to start yapping!

How on earth can you not be talking specifically about the importance of the U.K. to the EU when you type 'Brexit happens and the EU dies', you burbling buffoon?

As for 'wasting time', isn't it time for your daily 12 post run of wittering incoherence?

Bookies do get it wrong sometimes, though the industry thrives on real time and insider data + expert analysis + educated guesswork. Current standings suggest we miscalculated earlier on that May will end between June-August, though she's at 1/5 to be gone sometime this year, 6/1 next year, and as usual the bookies offer sucker bets for beyond 2020.

The troubling bit for Brit politics imho is that Corbyn remains a firm favourite at 4/11 to lead his Marxists into next year and 7/2 to leave/get booted next year, a spike at 8/1 in 2021 and get this, just 3/1 to wave the flag into 2022. The perception here appears to be that they expect him to see out this year, and if so then the Left is so far gone that their unelectable leader will also see out the next couple of years and into the next election, during which time the Tory implosion continues though with no decisive electoral benefit to Labour; iow, the Tories are dead, long live the Tories! Over to you, squirrel.

    and the fun continues

    Brexit: Cross-party talks to resume
    https://www.bbc.com/news/uk-politics-48018540

Talks between the government and Labour on Brexit will resume later as MPs return to Westminster following the Easter break.

Cabinet ministers will meet senior opposition figures in an attempt to solve the impasse by finding a deal that could win the support of MPs.

But some Tory MPs are angry the talks with Labour are even taking place.

Leading backbencher Nigel Evans called on Theresa May to step down as prime minister "as soon as possible".

The joint executive secretary of the back bench 1922 Committee told BBC Radio 4's Today programme: "The only way we're going to break this impasse properly is if we have fresh leadership of the Conservative Party...

"If there was an announcement today by the prime minister then of course we could start the process straight away."

Nice diverse range on candidates put up by the Brexit party showing it is clearly not right wing and a party for all people who believe in a Britain free from the EU.
