Britain has always respected the ECHR's determinations which influence its own judgements. That will not change. The ECHR is not part of the EU but Brexit morons often do not understand this because they are stupid, dull-witted buffoons.

The ECJ has been a force for good compelling successive British governments to relinquish practices that protected vested interests and money-grubbing Tory cvunts. Losing it will be a bad thing for the working Joe for sure since they have been the main beneficiaries of ECJ rulings.

Before the working time directive was introduced over 2 million Brit workers received no paid holidays and were compelled to work overtime or get sacked. The Tory cvunts tried to stop this but the ECJ fucked those scrawny-arsed bastards right off.

And remember, it worked both ways, it was the ECJ that ruled the City of London had the right to trade in the euro markets even though Britain was not within the currency regime.

The ECJ was often the last bulwark against Tory money-grubbers, now it is to be lost.

While nobody knows what's going on, we may find direction under a less dishonest Brexit PM. In that respect the country will get what it deserves in spades if the people go full mad hatter and choose our glorious Chancellor to take over when May is outed.

Peoples concerns should be addressed, but you are not going to achieve that by helping old people to shit on young people or to entertain their antiquated xenophobias.

The UK has a lot of problems ...but Brexit is never going to solve those problems, in fact it will amplify them.

I think Brexit and EU are incompatible; either Brexit happens and the EU dies, or it doesn't happen and the EU limps into the second half of 10 years before rolling over. No big deal, empires come and go, except the chaos this beast generates should dwarf all others.

Not specifically the importance of the UK, squirrel, also the fragility of the EU, economically, politically, socially, and soon militarily which ought to be fun, though I don't expect you to comprehend such basics.

Fex, ask yourself, having driven Greece into poverty through an unsustainable currency and fiscal policies, why does the EU follow through by throwing hundreds of billions into the Aegean with less than a dog's chance of getting it back? And how many more hundreds of billions will it need to stabilise other poor members on the brink, whilst pushing them towards it? You could avoid a tail spin by counting the reasons, though up on the list would be that the ultimate goal of full integration does not allow for even the lowliest country to back out, since others will invariably follow. And when the leaver is also the 2nd biggest net contributor, while the biggest has already refused to play patsy any more, Brexit becomes a significant blow to an already weakened Empire.

Current standings suggest we miscalculated earlier on that May will end between June-August, though she's at 1/5 to be gone sometime this year, 6/1 next year, and as usual the bookies offer sucker bets for beyond 2020.

The troubling bit for Brit politics imho is that Corbyn remains a firm favourite at 4/11 to lead his Marxists into next year and 7/2 to leave/get booted next year, a spike at 8/1 in 2021 and get this, just 3/1 to wave the flag into 2022. The perception here appears to be that they expect him to see out this year, and if so then the Left is so far gone that their unelectable leader will also see out the next couple of years and into the next election, during which time the Tory implosion continues though with no decisive electoral benefit to Labour; iow, the Tories are dead, long live the Tories! Brexit: Cross-party talks to resume

Talks between the government and Labour on Brexit will resume later as MPs return to Westminster following the Easter break.

Cabinet ministers will meet senior opposition figures in an attempt to solve the impasse by finding a deal that could win the support of MPs.

But some Tory MPs are angry the talks with Labour are even taking place.

Leading backbencher Nigel Evans called on Theresa May to step down as prime minister "as soon as possible".

The joint executive secretary of the back bench 1922 Committee told BBC Radio 4's Today programme: "The only way we're going to break this impasse properly is if we have fresh leadership of the Conservative Party...

"If there was an announcement today by the prime minister then of course we could start the process straight away."
