with all the strife over brexit. i looked up the meaning of referendum. what is called the referendum was only a servey of opinion. so my quiery is what should the referendum have been called.

It was called a referendum and could have been called anything else, though every one of our glorious leaders assured the country that the majority decision would be final and applied.

52-48 is a majority and qualifies under that assurance.

Bobbie should, as I have done, join up: https://thebrexitparty.org

(Cyrille/Fufu, only 25 Great British pounds, I can lend you the money if you need...)

The numbers below have dropped for the Conservative and Labour parties, but it's a credible source https://researchbriefings.parliament...mary/SN05125):

    Brexit - It's Still On!-screenshot-2019-04-18-15-36-a

&, the Brexit party has 100,000+ members already, and growing fast:

So, there's more Brexit party members than Liberal Democrat members, and probably (the numbers are changing all the time...) equal to or higher than Conservative party members. We know that Labour party membership was increased for 'strange' reasons before the last election, but with Corbyn done and dusted and Blairite Starmer taking over the Labour Party membership may have dropped under 500,000 already and is still dropping (and fast).

Will the Brexit Party be second on this list in a week's time? (Current number increases say yes, and by some distance...)

Happy days, Bobbie, the people are taking back control, democracy is on the rise!

All of that with political betrayal at the highest levels combine to make Farage a target, not just by a compliant media pwned and driven by a thoroughly disgraced establishment.

How long before the spark that leads to an avalanche of compelling contrived evidence directing us to the evil Russian genius?

Brexit Party ODDS-ON favourites for European Elections following poll results

For the second time in as many days, the Brexit Party have topped polls.

Bookmakers have slashed odds on Nigel Farage’s Brexit Party winning the European elections after two consecutive opinion polls deemed them the front-runners.

Priced at 6/4 to gain the most seats just a couple of days ago, the Brexit Party are now as short as 1/2. That’s an implied probability of 66.7% that they emerge victorious.

Punters flocked to this market after the latest poll results, with 76% of bets in the last 24 hours going on the Brexit Party.

Previous favourites Labour have drifted out to 6/4, as leader Jeremy Corbyn continues to lose ground in the Brexit debate.

Having gained momentum considerably since its launch last week, Farage’s new party has shot to the top of opinion polls as it continues to draw support from disenchanted sections of Conservative and UKIP supporters.

So much for the 'staycation', Nev...

Ferry services to Europe have reported a ticket sales rise of more than 50% as holidaymakers book summer breaks after Brexit was delayed.

Holidaymakers had been warned of potential difficulties travelling to the continent, especially by car and ferry, in the event of a no-deal Brexit. The decision to put Britain’s date of departure from the European Union back from 29 March to at least the end of May, and possibly 31 October, has unleashed a wave of ticket sales.

Bookings on the Dover-Calais route have increased 55% on last year over the past seven days. Overall, there has been a 52% uplift in ticket sales across the 13 ferry routes between the UK and other European countries.

Direct Ferries, which sells tickets across Channel ferry routes and operators, said there had been triple-digit percentage growth in bookings on some longer channel crossings, such as those linking the south of England with Brittany and Spain.

“It’s been clear that customers have been holding back at the beginning of the year and the formal confirmation of the delay has opened the bow doors,” said Niall Walsh of Direct Ferries.

If the polls start looking like the UK might let loose a troop of baboons to wreck havoc in the EU ...what are the chances the EU will allow the EE to go ahead?

Knowing Maybot shes probably already conceded this for the extension and kept it quiet.

There you go, as we've known all along - EU democracy in action - you did get that its not just the UK who are likely to be less that EU friendly or are you just confirming that in Doctor Blackpool Tower's absence you are the complete muppet most on here know you to be.

    EDIT

Doctor, come back don't leave us with this....

If you think there is going to be some kind of far right domino effect in the EU you must be living in cloud cuckoo land.

Brexit is like when Tony Soprano whacked Ralph ...none of the rest of the made guys are ever going to consider going down that same road.

    A message has been sent.

Foo you are just as idiotic as you were before you took the treatment break - using the same language as Blackpool Bob, there's nothing specifically far right about wanting democracy or is that your leftist leaning coming out.

I preferred the good old days when racists were real men, all proud and defiant, swastika tattoo on the forehead, roaming around in packs looking to stomp anyone with even so much as a sun tan.

These days racists are all deniers, to the point even they believe they are not racists ...running scared from political correctness like pussies.
