It is good though to see that you have such faith in Turkey some time getting so democratic that they will be eligible for a EU membership.

It's straightforward enough for anyone but an utter moron to understand.

So I wouldn't waste any more time on it with this idiot.

In truth neither 'is' nor 'will' is accurate.

'Will, subject to many conditions that will not be met in the foreseeable future' works...but some words are a bit long for BREXIT voters.

Has any country that has become a candidate country then ever become a non candidate country? That would be a no. The placard is correct, Turkey is joining the EU just like every other candidate country is joining the EU.

That will explain why you struggled then and obviously had no idea about Turkey's current status. But that's no surprise is it. You really are the most boring tedious cvnt to ever grace this forum.

I wouldn't call the EU democratic, not while it's choking with unelected tyrants in positions of awesome power.

Might have agreed a few years back that Turkey could never be accepted into the Union, especially while it occupies territory of another EU member, things are going so rapidly and so far out of control that nothing surprises me anymore.

I think visa free access would be the logical next step to EU demise, giving Turks free movement without the need to meet EU 'standards', while they prepare the groundwork to stamp it through one fine 3am.

I think Erdogan presently is too busy sticking his tongue down the back of Czar Putins pants in acknowledgement that Turkey will not be joining in the near future, so better to look east where they turn a blind eye to human rights and genocide, even more so than the west. The Democratic and human rights demands of the E.U. will be far too onerous for the Turkish dictator. I would be surprised if Turkey would ever get Visa free travel in the E.U either.
Frau Merkels' disastrous love affair with Muslim immigration, now a real and festering problem for many European countries in the E.U. has put an end to that.
Countries like Hungary and Poland look forward to Muslim immigration as much as Buriramboy would look forward to discussing Brexit over tea and crumpets with seekingass and dragonfly.
On top of that there is the rise of the AFD in Germany, which Merkel must try to negate if she and her party are to retain what little power they are currently clinging to so desperately.

actually they will never join, this has been made clear to Turkey, they will be an eternal candidate, and since the fast tracking of 2002/2004, the EU has declared the intention of not including Turkey ever

hence Erdogan losing it and going the full dictatorship route,

Turkey has a special privilege though for trades, the Eurozone thing, like Switerland, that you fookers will also leave when hardbrexiting

Frau has little say in the number of immigrants/refugees heading to Europe. Her influence lies in the number that enter Germany once legally in Europe, and coaching her unelected rotties to bully and threaten and accordingly mete out punishments to members that do not 'respect' quotas.

Note that the touted numbers of immigrants/refugees actually translate to that number of entire families under the family reconciliation programme. Once residency papers are issued, thereafter a 'family' translates to any number of unknown and often undocumented individuals that claim to be suitably related to the successful immigrant/refugee.

A more magnificent train wreck than ever before is happening before their eyes, and the people are not just sleeping through it but programmed to wake for long enough to snap at anyone daring to point it out. Hilarious.

Oh they will, Brit authorities are under duress slowly confessing that their borders are more porous than an island should be, and that they've lost track of an estimated million illegals; that number started life at something like 40k a couple of years ago.

The Brit and EU situations are far far worse (or better depending where your sympathies lie) than glorious leaders like to admit, and their best defence is to keep the people ignorant/opiated, as in who's groping/bonking who and who's in rehab and ginger's getting married so dust off the bunting and stay stupid a while longer.

Agreed, but her "open door" policy has encouraged even more illegal migrants as well as genuine refugees to come to Europe.

Technically, Iceland since the Country withdrew its application a couple of years ago, but keep wriggling...

With regards the Syrian refugee crisis, with which the UK has disgraced itself, imagine having used £5bn to help set up camps in nearby countries, including Turkey, instead of squandering £40bn+ trying to leave the EU.

Iceland withdrew as you said. It wasn't the EU who decided they would no longer be a candidate country. Iceland saw sense.

What is it with you remoaners one minute you want a deal then the next start bleating that a deal will be done at an alleged cost of 40 bill.

She hopes to reduce illegals by making them legal, mainly through quotas, with the status of the surplus incoming blurred/camouflaged by distributing them among EU member nations with penalties for non-compliance.

Both she and her puppet media stay shy of educating the people about the family reconciliation programme that's obliged to allow several times the number of official migrants/refugees, including family of illegals. I believe her 2018 quota is around 200k, which translates to well over a million even if the quota is observed.

As of a few months ago around 45-50k of the newcomers are taking legal action for bureaucratic delays that prevent their paperwork reaching certain stages in specified times; in legal matters it is no excuse that the system is in disarray as it wasn't designed for such volumes. And as politicians tend to take the path of least resistance, wouldn't surprise me if the front line are quietly instructed to stamp people through to avoid making the big guys look bad.

    A slomo wreck.

Of course we will not win as you call it in negotiations as we have a useless cvnt of a PM with no backbone who remember is a remoaner. But however much of our money she gives away which will be the end of her it's still a price worth paying.

She has the position she has because no one else wanted to have it at that time.
That may change now after she has given away all that dosh to EU, now the cowardly competitors can enter the stage.

???? There were 5 or 6 people who originally decided to stand for leader after Cameron resigned, but the leadership contest descended into a farce after Gove stabbed Boris in the back then decided to run himself. She is the most uninspiring useless PM we have had in my living memory and the sooner the Tories get rid of her the better.

couldn't agree more, and the majority of the EU would like to thank you for having such courage to leave

Whatever our weak PM gives you will be squandered/stolen/given to Greece and soon Italy and the other PIIGS, so that won't last long and once it's gone you'll be worse off than you are today.
