Maybot latest claim, if any of it is true and approved by the EU

Brexit: Customs checks to be simplified in no-deal situation
    https://www.bbc.com/news/uk-47121225

Lorries will be able to drive straight off ferries and Channel Tunnel trains without making customs declarations in the event of a no-deal Brexit, the government has announced.

New guidance for importers and hauliers says firms would file a simplified form online in advance and pay duty later.

Hauliers have warned that no-deal could result in long queues at Channel ports.

The industry said firms would still not be ready for a "chaotic" EU exit - even with these simplified procedures.

The UK is due to leave the EU at 23:00 GMT on Friday 29 March - with or without a deal.

Theresa May has said she is "determined" to deliver Brexit on time, but a number of cabinet ministers have indicated they would be willing to agree to a short extension to finalise legislation.

Britain’s pivotal services sector has posted its weakest performance since the immediate aftermath of the EU referendum amid growing signs that Brexit uncertainty has slowed the economy to stall speed.

The latest health check of a sector that accounts for almost 80% of UK output showed services companies starting to reduce staff numbers in response to a decline in new business.

Following downbeat news from the manufacturing sectors, the closely watched survey of services from the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply and IHS Markit heightened concerns that the UK’s planned exit from the EU at the end of March would be accompanied by an economy flirting with recession.

    Yeah, you do this frequently.

Nobody is claiming it though, nor anything like it.

I mean, read the post again. How do you get from that to such an utterly asinine response?

Can you quote me saying "all EU economies are booming due to them not leaving the EU"?

Oh I see ..another strawman reply from you, Your go-to-response when you are unable to challenge the facts of what was actually said.

But, now you've brought up the subject, lets dig a little deeper:

I know you have trouble with graphs and they tend to send you into a rage. You won't like this one:
    Brexit - It's Still On!-1-jpg

That does not pull the UK much off the bottom of the G7 league table for annual growth; the UK sat just above Italy in the second quarter. Financial Times research has shown that by the end of the first quarter, the UK economy was between 1 and 1.5 per cent smaller than it would have been without the Brexit vote, although some independent estimates, such as a recent report from the Centre for European Reform, suggest the hit could have been as large as 2.5 per cent.

^Financial Times research no less ....the UK is 2nd bottom of the G7 just above Italy(You were foaming at the mouth a few pages ago about Italy being in 'technical recession' so I know I don't have to explain to you how bad this is.

UK economic growth will be the weakest in the European Union over the next two years and the risk of a chaotic Brexit means the outlook could be even worse

The UK will be more affected by the global recession when it exit the EU

doesn't matter, Brexit is not about economics, it's about independence and being in charge of your economic future, no matter how fucked up and incompetent your politicians are

The government handling of Brexit has a public disapproval of 80% according to latest polls.

Only 30 Parliament days to go to Brexit day.

    Dumb is as dumb does.
