that looks quite positive, and delusional
wish all the best to the UK in this new adventure,
can we expect to see GB rules the world again in trades ? of course back then, the Chinese and Russians were sleeping at the wheel, but not anymore

The Tory conference has got off to a good start with a major flaw in their mobile phone app allowing access to personal details of just about any MP. Apparently the flaw enabled anyone access by simply guessing the MP's email address.
They're gonna have to do a little better with their Customs and Excise app for the Chequer's Brexit...
you seem to have lost the reasons why the UK joined the EU in the first place,
Your country was economically broken, going the way to African dictatorships, collapsing on its own weight, and you had little options to be saved, and the EU saved you from total economic collapse
another reason is your political landscape, completely corrupted politicians, inefficient (a British trait), incapacitated, lazy, greedy, and disengaged. The EU saved you from them, by taking the right political decisions without those fookers intervening or corrupting the ideas behind the EU directives, even though they tried, oh boy did they try.
You fookers are basically shown the door by the current attitude of the EU, and rightly so
you can shove your exit agreements in your arse, they aren't got to be any :)
the roadmap in the EU was clear from the start, maybe your desperate politicians tried to manipulate you back then
the foundation of the Common Market had political integration as the ultimate goal to stop wars and make the continent a prosperous place
you Brit fookers thought that would give you another chance to economically dominate Europe and possibly the world, so you joined after years of decay and economic collapse
how wrong you were, and now you are shown the door
about fooking time,
Vive le Brexit !!!
give your support to Maybot :)
Was it the EU we joined, or the EEC?
:smileylaughing:Quote:

I think the tragedy about leaving is to watch former friends die a slow and painful death, I expect some Brits might even break down weeping. But hopefully by then we will have control of our borders against rats leaving the ship they sank.Quote:

I've just googled if Belgium was a country at that time, seems it was, yes.
It figures why you're clueless. Where do Belgians get their news, what with no national media or even language? Fyi according to the Littlehampton Gazette far from being shown the door we voted to bolt, you know, like demotracy or whatever they call it in Bruxelles. You're welcome, any time.Quote:

I think Britain has bigger and more urgent to solve problems than border control.
It has lost major part of its manufacturing industry during my lifetime and that is of course the reason for the lack of balance between
import and export.
The only positive I see is that Britain will not be affected by cut-down of manual work force due to increased robot use in the mfgring industries.
The UK joined the EEC in 1973, and the financial crisis that led to an IMF bailout didn't occur until 1975. The worse years were between 1975 and 1979, until the Thatcher government came into power and curbed the trade union stranglehold that was holding the country to ransom.
1993 brought the Maastricht Treaty and the commencement of ever increasing power to what became the European Union and it's three pillars (Court, Commission, and Parliament).
Uniliver abandons plans to move it's HQ from London to Rotterdam.

I will try again slow, just for you
1. You throw a tantrum and tell everyone you don't want to be part of the club anymore
2. But before you go you want to settle the accounts, possibly pending bills, and negotiate access to certain facilities
3. Our answer is no, just go away and here is the door
comprende dumbo Anglo Saxon ? :)
the 1992 treaty was on everyone mind since the late 80s, it was hardly a surprise, and everyone was getting ready for it, including the Brits
they have no excuses saying they didn't go along the plan, because they fully did
their current attitude is just their usual deviant way of denying their sad reality and blaming their fuckup on everyone else except their own
we will be watching and laughing at you guys when your country collapse and everyone is jumping ship, including the silly Brexitshitters :)
The EU started it's course of alienating itself from it's member states from the Lisbon Treaty in 2007. The ever increasing 'one cap fits all' approach, and particularly it's block on any changes to it's freedom, security and justice policies which are formulated and run out of the Commission. Mass migration from other EU states coupled with the rise in asylum seekers throughout the EU has caused well known anger in every EU country. From Italy in the south, to Sweden in the north, the natives are restless.
The ECJ protecting the human rights of convicted terrorists isn't making it one of the more popular institutions either.
I believe the Macron's popularity in France is now 30%, a record low for a serving President. The 2019 European Parliament elections are going to spring a few surprises I'm sure, though fortunately the UK will not be participating.
It's is a contraction of 'it is' ;)
Not a day goes by where Brexit doesn't look more depressing. I decided to have a poke about a FB group "I'M A BREXITEER"- yeah, it's in big shouty letters. Apparently, Gibralter should be nuked- thousands of posts 99% victim card playing, the Brexiteer way. It's always someone else's fault, never Englands. At least I am getting a little bonus every payday thanks to the pound being weak against the dollar.
