DAVOS - WORLD ECONOMIC FORUM Chinese billionaire Jack Ma says the US wasted trillions

I have been saying this for years, but nobody seems to listen. Only the Bern seems to have it right and I blame the Dems for not pushing him to election. Big mistake. Jump in anytime Snub.

Alibaba founder Jack Ma fired a shot at the United States in an interview at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland.

Ma was asked by CNBC's Andrew Ross Sorkin about the U.S. economy in relation to China, since President-elect Donald Trump has been talking about imposing new tariffs on Chinese imports.

Ma says blaming China for any economic issues in the U.S. is misguided. If America is looking to blame anyone, Ma said, it should blame itself.

"It's not that other countries steal jobs from you guys," Ma said. "It's your strategy. Distribute the money and things in a proper way."
He said the U.S. has wasted over $14 trillion in fighting wars over the past 30 years rather than investing in infrastructure at home.

I can jump in but you would have never voted for him as your posts have proven you to be pretty hard right.

This is a horrifying reality. What is worse then the money is the trail of the dead caused by this military industrial complex. I have opposed all of these actions and have protested some of them on the street. The military budget should be slashed and this shit should stop at once but your president is ratcheting up spending and already pushing nation states around.

Sorry, but I didn't vote for anyone this time around. Bern got pushed out, so there you go.

Trump is your president as well, whether you like it or not. One of the initial reasons I liked him was his stance on not jumping into the role of being world police. I agreed with that, but he is looking more like the typical big stick president these days and I am not liking it. He needs to stick to his original plan.

It's always been this way. Nothing new.

The most recent US jobs numbers masked a dark story. Unemployment held steady at 5.1%, but only 59.2% of Americans have a job. The difference is the unemployment rate only counts people who don’t have a job and are actively looking for one. The labor-force participation rate is perhaps a more accurate gauge of the economy. It includes people who’ve given up, don’t want to, or can’t work, and it fell to 62.4% last quarter.
