just heard an interesting piece of speculation....

if he announces that he's officially ending his employment at the justice department, then he's free to testify before congressional committees without the trump administration stopping him.

It's very noticeable that Trump has changed his tune on FB. For the last month or more, a few times a day he'd post "No collusion, no obstruction!" type rants. Today his post is "There's no evidence. In this country a person is innocent until proven guilty..."
Funny how he's actually emphasising that insufficient evidence does not equate to not guilty.

He made a specific point of saying they did NOT have confidence he didn't commit a crime.
They didn't charge him because apparently a sitting president can't be charged.

A president cannot be charged with a federal crime while he is in office,” he said. “That is unconstitutional. Even if the charge is kept under seal and hidden from public view – that too is prohibited.”

The special counsel’s 448-page report did not establish a criminal conspiracy between the Trump election campaign and Russia. Mueller also defended the FBI and the integrity of the investigation, which have been under constant assault from the president and his rightwing allies.

And he emphasised that the first volume of his report, which details Russia’s attack on American democracy, deserves urgent attention despite the Washington’s partisan firestorms and Trump’s repeated attempts to ignore it or play it down.

“There were multiple, systematic efforts to interfere in our election,” he said, “and that allegation deserves the attention of every American.”

it's only under a trial with a solid judiciary process you could make such a claim, not a frigging report by some FBI idiot who think everyone is guilty of something

only a legal process under criminal laws have the necessary tools to uncover and a punish a crime, not the FBI

the FBI loses cases all the time when their investigation fail the test of criminal laws

the FBI might think something, doesn't mean it's true, and the FBI has a history of investigation abuses, like all government agencies

Trump investigation was no exception,
