Australia does not accept any refugees who arrive on a boat! In keeping with Australian law and to placate the do-gooders screaming about the refugees being held indefinitely in detention; Australia agreed to take a similar number of illegal immigrants from South America who were not welcome in the States.
Were Australia to allow the detained boat refugees in, the floodgates would open once more for the illegal armadas to recommence.

2 China runs Australia - absolute rubbish.

3 The ex fish and chip shop owner you refer to - Pauline Hanson - was not invited to the inauguration. She merely requested a ticket to attend as anyone could do.
There were lots of spaces available.

My experience in speaking to educated Aussies is that they believe Trump is a nutcase and danger to peace and world stability - time will tell.

Iceman, google is your friend, Hanson wrote a letter of congratulations to trump, no request for tickets, but Trump offered a US paid seat to the party.

Again Google Australia and China trade and Chinese ownership, China cut back on commodities, dropping the Oz dollar 30 odd percent, then started buying mines.

Most Australians I know think Trump speaks his mind, not political BS, not educated I guess, probably just normal working class people, same as thoughts that voted for Trump in the first place.

James, here is the breakdown of foreign owned land in Oz.
Hard to extrapolate from these figures how "China owns Australia"

    • UK – 27.5 million ha (52.7% of foreign-owned agricultural land, or 7.2% of total Australian agricultural land)
    • USA – 7.7 million ha (14.8% of foreign-owned or 2% of total agricultural land)
    • Netherlands – 2.98 million ha (5.7% of foreign-owned or 0.8% of total)
    • Singapore – 1.9 million ha (3.6% of foreign-owned or 0.5% of total)
    • China – 1.5 million ha (2.8% of foreign-owned or 0.4% of total)
    • Philippines – 1.1 million ha (2.2% of foreign-owned or 0.3% of total)
    • Switzerland – 1.1 million ha (2.1% of foreign-owned or 0.3% of total)
    • Jersey – 0.9 million ha (1.8% of foreign-owned or 0.25% of total)
    • Indonesia – 0.8 million ha (1.5% of foreign-owned or 0.2% of total)
    • Japan – 0.7 million ha (1.3% of foreign-owned or 0.18% of total)

The tickets were offered to the One Nation NSW senator (used to work in the Trump organisation). He could not attend and offered the tickets to Ms Hanson who did not attend either! Hope that clears it up for you.

All these patriotic nationalist Ozzies coming to the defence of a foreign leader who was disrespectful to their own. That fact makes them neither patriotic or nationalistic. Quite the opposite IMO.

Often hear something similar in the states but Canada is the largest foreign holder of US agricultural land followed by countries like the UK, Germany and Netherlands.

Of course we are being disrespectful of our leader !

The guy is a dickhead !

Trump canned the TPP and lucky for OZ that he did !

Australia "The Lucky Cuntry" hasn't had a decent leader in a long time !

It's just stupid fear mongering and racism. Migration across the Mexican border has been in decline since 2008. It's a bunch of BS for lemmings like you.

Citizens of Mexico (I assume you're referring to Mexicans):

are not a race. There is no such thing as a "Mexican race" and they are also not an ethnic group.

You're just making an excuse by incorrectly playing the race card.

Same with Central Americans for the most part.

DACA & DAPA were vote pandering policies and after the 2012 ILLegals increased by Obama opened up the gates.

When's the last time you went to Mexico? How many times have you been there? How long did you stay?

Do you know what an FMT card is? Know what happens if you lose it?

How about an F-2? Know what happens if you stay one extra day?

What your Spanish listening and speaking level?

You don't even follow this issue. You've proven that by your post.

I certainly did, I and about 90 % of the guys I work with are sick and tired of watching a once great country be destroyed by the soft hearted do-gooders that have been eroding our civil rights and allowing Australia to become a complete nanny country where even the criminals have more rights that the citizens.

My elderly father , who lived on the gold coast, was recently advised by a member of the constabulary that if a burglar entered his home, he should leave the premises and call the police !
you no longer have the right to defend yourself our your belongings ?

you can get more money from employment benefits than from working ?

you cant drink in public ?

now the latest is turnbull said he will never discriminate against anybody for their choice of attire, this allows freedom to wear a burqa or hijab.
unless you wear something that is related to the dreaded "BIKIES" then you can go to jail.

Australia has turned into a shithole !

Report in the Australian newspaper today said the deal with Obama was that OZ had to take the inmates from Guantanamo Bay in exchange for the economic country shoppers
    in Manus and Nauru.
At least the OZ govt had enough brains to tell Obama to piss off and would only take "problem" refugees via a processing centre in Costa Rica who are fleeing gang violence
in Central America, just what the country needs, more ethnic gangs running amock.

    US-Australia resettlement deal begins

    .
Manus Island, Nauru refugees fingerprinted as processing for US-Australia resettlement deal begins

Officials from the US Department of Homeland Security are set to begin fingerprinting refugees on Manus Island and Nauru in preparation for resettlement in America under the US-Australia refugee deal.

In a document supplied to refugees on the islands, the State Department-funded Resettlement Support Centre detailed the process from now on for refugees who had been referred for consideration for transfer to the US.

It said officers from the Department of Homeland Security would be on Manus and Nauru during April, fingerprinting those who had expressed an interest in US resettlement.

Refugees will also be subjected to a security assessment, further interviews and medical checks before their applications are considered.

The ABC understands that of roughly 900 refugees who may be under consideration on Nauru, around 600 had first interviews conducted by officials from the US resettlement team based in Bangkok in December and January.

Most of the people interviewed are from Sudan, Somalia and Afghanistan.
