As far as I know, Pence can only pardon him from federal crimes.

    President Donald Trump-jail_1491057053736_9100479_ver1-0-jpg
    Compliments of Michael R. Pence

But, on another note - as he's been campaigning for a year prior to winning the election and his term is four years, of the crimes that Trump may, or may not, have committed in the past. Will the Statute of Limitations invalidate charges filed him?

Once again proving that you like most trumpanzees are a special kind of stupid. Nixon was never tried but he was pardoned.

If after everything that’s happened over the last four years if Trump the hateful, divisive, racist, conman and criminal who has devalued the office of the president in every conceivable manner and shown that he is morally and ethically unfit for office is re-elected then it would be hard to argue it's not because he reflects the current level and status of ‘US values’ which says nothing good.

It also shows that despite all his flaws and faults and being an obvious moron he was right about two things: he could shoot someone and not lose his supporters votes; and he’s right to ‘love (read: manipulate) the stupid’...

    Also not exactly flattering.

Trump nominated for Nobel Peace Prize after Israel-UAE deal

Nomination was submitted by Christian Tybring-Gjedde, a member of the Norwegian Parliament

President Trump has been nominated for the 2021 Nobel Peace Prize, shortly after his administration helped broker a new peace deal between Israel and the United Arab Emirates.

“For his merit, I think he has done more trying to create peace between nations than most other Peace Prize nominees,” Christian Tybring-Gjedde, the member of the Norwegian Parliament who nominated Mr. Trump,
    told Fox News.

In his nomination letter to the Nobel Committee, Mr. Tybring-Gjedde also cited Mr. Trump’s “key role in facilitating contact between conflicting parties and … creating new dynamics in other protracted conflicts, such as the Kashmir border dispute between India and Pakistan, and the conflict between North and South Korea, as well as dealing with the nuclear capabilities of North Korea.”

That's a temporary truce not a peace deal, but it looks nice on a CV.

    No it doesn't.
He has been nominated by a right-wing populist nationalist and that is as far as it gets, there's no chance the Nobel Committee will choose him for the price.

Not rude at all AO, thanks for your consideration.

I would have thought that Trump's ego would prevent him resigning, post Election loss.

US President Donald Trump is being sued over rape allegations he denies. US taxpayers could soon foot his bills.

    President Donald Trump-12647896-4x3-xlarge-jpg

Mr Trump has been repeatedly accused of sexual misconduct throughout his political career.(Reuters: Jonathan Ernst)

US Department of Justice attorneys have sought to take over from Donald Trump's private lawyers in a defamation lawsuit involving a woman who has accused the President of raping her in the 1990s.

    Key points:
    • Former Elle columnist E Jean Carroll is suing Mr Trump for his denials of her rape allegation
    • Mr Trump is entitled to Justice Department support under US federal employee legislation
    • A federal court judge will decide if Mr Trump can have access to a taxpayer-funded legal team

The department is also seeking to have the case heard in a Federal Court.

If successful, this could mean US taxpayers would foot the legal fees for Mr Trump, as department attorneys are civil servants.

As far as I know, Israel and the UAE have never actually been at war, so what peace has actually been achieved?

Bahrain's ambassador to the US is a female Bahrain Jew. There is no real animosity between most the the Gulf countries and Israel.

All they've really done is opened the door to a Miznon in the Mall of the Emirates.

But yes, it s odd . . . and so many support him against their own best interests, showing just how dense they are. Trump is right about his opinion regarding his supporters and Republican voters in general
In a press briefing later on, trump said "he did not tell the truth as not to cause a panic" on a follow up question from another reporter who asked him "why should we believe you now? he had no answer other than some convoluted trampian answer that made sense only to the senseless. saying something about leadership of all things.
Imagine how low this ashole has brought the presidency where reporters publicly challenge him as a lier to his face. I have never seen that happen before to any president Democrat or Republican.
The man is a joke and has turned the presidency into a joke.

Seems legit... I mean it's not as though he's known for stoking fear and division, warning of caravans of immigrants or 'them' moving into your neighborhoods or anything like that.

Oh shit, and just because we're in a crazy cycle of never-ending bullshit that's hard to keep track of during this herpes of a year...

There's also a new whistleblower complaint from former senior DHS official alleging that he was ordered to "cease providing intelligence assessments on the threat of Russian interference in the US, and instead start reporting on interference activities by China and Iran."

Trump is so compromised by Putin that he is treasonous. We are at one of the lowest points in history when a sleazy, sociopathic criminal and a murderous thug are in control.
