Trump truly wants to go down in history as at least a good president if not a great one, yes its his EGO. And for this reason I believe he will work his ass off doing the right things to get the economy moving red hot, creating jobs dragging people out of poverty out of welfare out of all the shit the dems put them in.

Then there are the dems who will do their best to sabotage his efforts. The proof will be in the pudding, time....... and the results, right now its all just blabber.

    Fail!

Mnuchin Said to Be Top Treasury Pick Among Trump?s Advisers - Bloomberg Politics

Former Goldman Sachs Group Inc. partner Steven Mnuchin has been recommended by Donald Trump’s transition team to serve as Treasury secretary, according to two people familiar with the process, and the choice is awaiting the president-elect’s final decision.
    <snip>

Before he became Trump’s chief fundraiser this year, he had been a partner at Goldman Sachs like his father before him; ran a hedge fund; worked with George Soros; funded Hollywood blockbusters; and bought a failed bank, IndyMac, with billionaires including John Paulson. They renamed it OneWest and sold it last year to CIT Group Inc. for $3.4 billion.

In 2008, during one of the murkiest moments of the global financial crisis, Mnuchin gathered some billionaires to assemble $1.6 billion to buy IndyMac, the California bank that customers were trying to pull their money from.

Mnuchin got an agreement that guaranteed the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. would absorb almost all the loan losses after a certain threshold. After renaming the bank, it was profitable within a year. In October 2011 about 100 protesters marched on his Los Angeles mansion, angry about foreclosures. “Steve Mnuchin,” one sign read, “Stop taking our homes.” He and his partners sold the bank in August 2015.
Meet da new boss...same as da old boss.

Alternatively, he'll do it all on credit and leave the economy in an even more perilous state than the last Republican cock did.

Trump wants top secret clearance for his children according to CNN. He wants to use his kids as advisors while they are running his companies. His family should be kept as far from government as possible to avoid conflicts of interest. I guess we can expect a lot more of this kind of corruption from him.

You're too dumb to realise that Obama did an excellent job of damage limitation.

Now is not the time to give even more tax cuts to the rich.

Indeed he is. The reality is that these thick right wing types never seem to grasp is that Obama lowered the deficit. The debt went up mainly because of the Bush era tax cuts and the two wars.

It will be a epic disaster and the debt will explode. A return to failed economic policy is just what the country doesn't need. Trickle down economics.

This guy is trouble: Bannon cites his Naval service to deflect criticism about his more recent resume entry: head of Beitbart News, an online white supremacist outlet. Glad he left the Navy and hope Republicans have the nads to stand up to Trump on this mistake.

Donald Trump Draws Criticism Over Steve Bannon Appointment - WSJ

Donald Trump’s appointment of media executive Steve Bannon to an influential White House post drew sharp criticism from Democrats, who cited his news outlet’s incendiary articles about ethnic and religious minorities during his tenure. The criticism on Monday followed a presidential campaign in which the Republican nominee drew support from the Ku Klux Klan and other white nationalist groups. Mr. Bannon, who led the Breitbart News Network before joining the campaign as chief executive, has in the past linked his site to the “alt right,” a movement that includes people who view immigration and multiculturalism as threats to white identity.

In May, before Mr. Bannon joined Mr. Trump’s campaign, his news outlet ran an article calling conservative foreign-policy journalist Bill Kristol a “Republican Spoiler, Renegade Jew.” In July, it ran two articles with the headlines: “The Solution to Online ‘Harassment’ Is Simple: Women Should Log Off” and “There’s No Hiring Bias Against Women In Tech, They Just Suck At Interviews.” The website also warned of a “Muslim rape culture.”

Two weeks after nine African-Americans were shot in a Charleston, S.C., church in 2015 by a man who had posed for a photograph with the Confederate Flag, Breitbart ran an article with the headline: “Hoist It High and Proud: The Confederate Flag Proclaims a Glorious Heritage.”

Evan McMullin, the former chief policy director of the House Republican Conference who ran as an independent candidate for president, called on Republican leaders to try to derail his appointment.

“This is sort of a test case for our Republican leaders,” Mr. McMullin said in an interview. “I would hope that for our Republican leaders, that this would be one of those situations in which they would say, we have got to ‘check’ Donald Trump and let him know that this isn’t an acceptable decision.” The position Mr. Trump has assigned to Mr. Bannon, chief strategist and senior counselor, doesn’t require Senate approval".

President-elect Donald Trump is leaning toward naming as secretary of state John Bolton, a bellicose enemy of Russia and Iran who is among the most hawkish members of the Republican foreign policy community, according to two sources familiar with Trump’s thinking.

Even worse is Ben Carson who is in the lead for Education Secretary.

Here are just five reasons to worry about Carson becoming secretary of education:

    1) Promised To Root Out ‘Political Bias’ And ‘Anti-American’ Sentiment in Schools, Houses Of Worship

During his presidential campaign, Carson said that if elected he would “change the function of the Department of Education” to have it “monitor institutions of higher education for political bias and withhold federal funding if it exists.”

He told The Des Moines Register that the government should send people to “surreptitiously” monitor “classrooms and libraries” to root out political bias, which he claims primarily comes from the left.

Carson also said he supports the government “monitoring a mosque or any church or any organization or any school or any press corps where there was a lot of radicalization and things that were anti-American.”

Carson pledged that he would work “very hard on eliminating the ban on Christianity in our public schools,” despite the fact that such a ban does not exist.

    2) Denies Evolution

If Carson were to be nominated and confirmed, the Department of Education would be led by an outspoken denier of one of the foundations of modern biology: the theory of evolution.

Carson has railed against the theory of evolution, calling it a sign of humanity’s arrogance and the work of Satan, and has insisted that the earth was created in six literal days.

In one speech, Carson linked evolution to cannibalism and “scientific political correctness,” while also raising doubts about the fossil record and saying that evolution can’t be true because “no one has ever demonstrated one species changing to another species.”

Back in 2014, he said people who believe in evolution are “like Lucifer” because they reject God and the Bible and think of themselves as God, and also “dismiss ethics,” have no sense of morality and “have no reason for things such as selfless love.”

Back in 2014, he said people who believe in evolution are “like Lucifer” because they reject God and the Bible and think of themselves as God, and also “dismiss ethics,” have no sense of morality and “have no reason for things such as selfless love.”

    3) Attacks Basic Science

Along with attacking the theory of evolution, Carson has dismissed the Big Bang as “ridiculous” and a “fairy tale.”

Carson also rejects the science behind climate change and recommended that doctors cut down on and delay vaccinations, which experts warn could lead to outbreaks of preventable diseases.

But don’t be alarmed: God once gave Carson every answer to a chemistry exam in a dream.

    4) Promotes Bogus History

Carson has repeatedly used fake quotes from famous historical figures to justify his own political views. Not only that, but a book he wrote in 2012 was found to have been heavily plagiarized from conservative writers such as Bill Federer and Cleon Skousen, along with a website called SocialismSucks.net.

When defending his decision to run for president despite having no political experience, Carson wrongly wrote on his Facebook page that “every signer of the Declaration of Independence had no elected office experience,” only to then edit his claim to say he was referring only to “federal elected office experience,” despite the fact there were no federal elected office positions in the colonial era.

He also famously claimed that “Joseph built the pyramids” of Egypt in order “to store grain.”

    5) Opposes LGBT Equality

Under the Obama administration, the Department of Education has been a leader in ensuring that schools protect LGBT students from bullying and discrimination.

Carson, however, has a very different record on LGBT issues.

He has said that prison rape proves that being gay is a choice, referred to LGBT people as “abnormal,” mocked and denounced transgender people and suggested that the LGBT rights movement is part of a communist, anti-American conspiracy.

Carson also signed a National Organization for Marriage pledge to “prevent the promotion of a redefined version of marriage in public schools and other government entities.”

    fixed that for Bannon.

Here's a Daily Kos article on Kristol:

    Bill Kristol

    excerpt:

William Kristol, entitled son of formerly suspected traitor and currently confirmed monster, Irving Kristol, represents the nadir of political discourse. His just pumped the neighbor's cat grin a fixture on the Sunday shows, Kristol is generally known for not knowing anything. That in itself is bad enough, Kristol being sought out for his unerringly inaccurate predictions despite a career full of evidence if he says it, it's not going to happen. But what really chaps my ass is, Bill Kristol, professional warmonger, second generation neo-con, founding member of PNAC, and all around bloodthirsty chickenhawk, is consistently sought out to render unto a befuddled American media his incredibly vapid and intolerably smug analysis of all things military.

It seems, when a Beltway talk show host wants to inject a little authority on matters of blood and guts, boots-on-the-ground, let slip the dogs of war combat neo-con style, the best expert they've got in their Rolodex is an intellectual lightweight who's built a career out of pushing a discredited theory, of which its adherents are directly and unambiguously responsible for the deaths of every American soldier and Iraqi civilian caused by the war they cheerled and lied to precipitate.

Call me Mr. Silly, but I don't recognise a single Commander in Chief in that photo.

Or are you just trying to be clever by posting former secs of state and omitting Powell and Rice?
