An alleged cover-up, a secret server and more bombshells in Trump whistleblower complaint

    Key Points

    • Damning allegations against President Trump and White House officials are revealed with the release by Congress of a whistleblower’s complaint.
    • Among them is the belief by the whistleblower that Trump’s actions were so obviously egregious that White House officials promptly launched a cover-up.
    • The House has launched an impeachment inquiry into Trump to investigate the matter.

    Land of paradoxes:

One whistleblower (and few more) who publicly disclosed enormous atrocities of the govt around the world - is damned, expected to be jailed for life (or executed)

Another whistleblower (in fact a mole in president's office - and still not coming forward) who disclosed president's call for a corruption investigation - is hailed by honorable people as one who is very patriotic to his country and his compatriots

so the whistleblower is indeed a CIA agent with a political agenda and working previously at the WH,

think he is trying to protect deep state by embarrassing Trump,

looks like Trump is trying to hide his actions from the CIA, and the CIA doesn't like it

    hence the whistleblower

So because of that he should be given a free pass to betray his country and commit any crimes he likes?

Remember all those times right wingers cried about Obama being a traitor and an undercover Muslim hellbent on destroying Freedom & Democracy in the US, flouting the Constitution, and using Executive Orders to rule as a Emperor...?

All seems so quaint now doesn't it.

indeed, they were really ridiculous, and yet that didn't stop the other side from doing exactly the same things today with Trump

Reminder: Trump is a Russian asset

So you didn't read the report. It's ok, I understand. It takes an attention span of something longer that a thought the flies through a butterflies' brain and I know that's asking a lot of you.

I've got a minor thought, crazy as it sounds, that I've been wondering about...

Many of the Faux News sorts have been pointing out the Biden's son was getting paid a bunch of cash while being on the board of a company that he had no experience in managing.

Yet none of them have commented on have the president's family have profited from their father being the president. Didn't Ivanka get a ton of trademarks from China, AFTER she was working for the US government?

I wonder how much money that's making her? How is Ivanka's and Jared's experience in "advising" a president any different than Biden's son advising an oil company.
"I was a good student. I comprehend very well, OK, better than I think almost anybody," - President Trump comparing his legal knowledge to a Federal judge.

No it's not...it's velco! That way his shoes are always nice and tight on his feet and he doesn't have to make a knot.

As a board member he is not there to manage the company. That is the management teams job.

As a lawyer with international experience, he is qualified to advise on policy and on the legality of major company decisions, which is perfectly normal.

Doesn't sound like anything unusual to me. I'm guessing your beef is that he may have only got the position because of his Dad's status.

    That may be true.

That is a little different to children of a President who has not divested his business interests giving security clearance to the children that run his company.

It's not difficult to see the conflict of interest there.

Hunter Biden did not have Whitehouse security clearance.

    See the difference?

Giuliani has alleged that Hunter Biden was involved in corruption whilst in that position, but as is usual for this administration, he has no evidence of anything of the kind.

Either way, it doesn't bother me, if this Ukraine shit keeps baldy orange cunto and Sleepy Joe out of the Whitehouse it's a good thing.

My point was that there's a lot a people saying Biden's son was unqualified for the job, yet haven't raised the same questions about Ivanka and Jared.

In consideration of so many problems the poor man had to solve (Navy Reserve Discharge - not really honorable - and not just few problems more) he had to be really very qualified and being very busy to properly legally advise the company on the other side of the world (wasn't the company corrupted already before he kindly sacrificed himself?).

However, it's not so unusual. E.g. after the Kosovo problem was settled (or already during that settling?) Some kind "advisers", or really directors, offered themselves as well for managing some companies...

"A lot of people say" FFS that is something baldy orange cunto comes out with.

Hunter Biden graduated in law from Georgetown and Yale.

He doesn't manage his fathers company nor does he have access to state secrets.

You're blathering man, get it out, you think he got a nice earner because the Ukrainian company thought he could put a word in with his dad?

    You're probably right.

But comparing it to what the Whitehouse Addams family is doing is comparing apples with oranges.

He will be impeached but not removed from office. It will be a humiliating stain on his so-called presidency though and he can't bear the thought of such an historic rebuke.

All this nonsense about firing up his base. They are already fired up and he will play the same dirty game impeachment or not.
