I'm sure Trump has a plan. All part of the art of negotiating a deal.

Who now has the upper hand on the world stage. Totally wiped out an unprepared as always Trump. Without his crowd the bravado does not go over so well. No smiley as its a tragic joke.

Should I join the quote fest?

How fortunate for governments that the people they administer don't think

Seems appropriate considering who our President is.

Wilbur Ross did say the EU will "get over" baldy orange cunto's tariffs.

The European Union and Japan signed a landmark deal on Tuesday that will eliminate nearly all tariffs on products they trade.
The ambitious pact signed in Tokyo runs counter to President Donald Trump's moves to hike tariffs on imports from many U.S. trading partners. It covers a third of the global economy and markets of more than 600 million people.
“The EU and Japan showed an undeterred determination to lead the world as flag-bearers for free trade,” Abe said at a joint news conference with European Council President Donald Tusk and European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker.

While China is trying to define its future trade relations with the US, it's been delivered a broadside from the European Commission. Brussels announced it had raised duties on Chinese steel imports.

It promised the EU it would stop dumping steel. It didn't.

I don't know if China was dumping steel in the US, but I know baldy orange cunto was building his hotels with it.

Donald Trump says NATO is better funded 'only because of me'

    President Donald Trump-9912962-3x2-940x627-jpg
US President Donald Trump says NATO will pay hundreds of billions of dollars more in future thanks to his efforts.

US President Donald Trump has taken personal credit for the strength of NATO, an organisation he has frequently
criticised, and cast his recent meeting with ally countries in a positive light.

The North Atlantic Treaty Organisation is better funded "only because of me," said Mr Trump in a tweet.

"I had a great meeting with NATO," he said in the same tweet. "NATO was weak, but now it is strong again (bad for Russia).
The media only says I was rude to leaders, never mentions the money!

Donald Trump backtracks on Russia election meddling comments, says he misspoke in Helsinki

Mr Trump's reversal came amid rising rebuke from his own party.

US President Donald Trump, grappling with a torrent of criticism over his performance at a Helsinki summit with
Russian President Vladimir Putin, says he misspoke at their joint news conference and meant to say he saw no reason
why it was not Russia that interfered in the 2016 US election.

    Key points:
    • US President corrects his own comments approximately 27 hours after he originally made them
    • Mr Trump says he accepts Russia's 2016 election meddling took place, but "it could be other people also"
    • US Senate Republican leader: "The European countries are our friends, and the Russians are not"

"The sentence should have been, 'I don't see any reason why I wouldn't, or why it wouldn't be Russia' instead
of 'why it would'," Mr Trump said.

His comment came — amid rising rebuke by his own party — about 27 hours after his original, widely reported statement
made at a summit in Helsinki on Monday (local time) standing alongside Russian President Vladimir Putin.

"I accept our intelligence community's conclusion that Russia's meddling in the 2016 election took place," Mr Trump said on Tuesday.
But he added: "It could be other people also. A lot of people out there. There was no collusion at all."

    ---

He said his NATO meeting was "great" but he "had an even better meeting with Mr Putin".

"Sadly, it is not being reported that way — the Fake News is going Crazy!"
    ---

Republican Senator Bob Corker of Tennessee said Mr Trump's comments were "saddening and disappointing".
On Capitol Hill, top Republican leaders said they were open to slapping fresh sanctions on Russia but showed no signs of
    acting any time soon.

"Let's be very clear, just so everybody knows: Russia did meddle with our elections," said House Speaker Paul Ryan.
    ---
"I have great confidence in my intelligence people, but I will tell you that President Putin was extremely strong and
    powerful in his denial today."
(referring to Russian President Putin) ... "He just said it's not Russia. I will say this: I don't see any reason why it would be," Mr Trump said.
That's the part he corrected on Tuesday.

Protesters rally outside the White House in Washington after Mr Trump's return from Finland.

    ---

As an aside, there was a classic moment during a White house meeting with President Trump when the lights went out

Thousands and thousands will for weeks and weeks brainwash millions and millions of attentive audience by the "appalling", "despicable" (and other adjectives) "treason" of the world's most democrative president...

No other important causes are to be attended and highlighted for the trustfull listeners. (how lucky for such dull off-season...)

Trump blames ‘double negative’ for furor over Putin meeting'

The sentence should have been, ‘I don’t see any reason why it wouldn’t be Russia.’ Sort of a double negative,’’ Trump said.

.....that's his story and the GOP will stand by it

Exactly, the 'terrible' President will continue to get them ratings as viewers tune in to hear the latest gaff... meanwhile what the media are not talking about is why Putin and Trump are so cosy, massive fossil fuel reserves, even though the truth is in plain sight that Trump is a stooge for ExxonMobil, and with that kind of backing Trump can do what he wants... next stop WW3 to lower (edit: raise, of course.. more caffeine needed) the price of oil and make those tar sands and fracking projects viable again, he just needs Putins agreement.

Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming "Wow! What a Ride!"
