The wife of an ethics lawyer for the Trump Organization has been arrested after allegedly having sex with an inmate in a car.
Teresa Burchfield, the 53-year-old wife of Bobby Burchfield, was taken into custody on Tuesday outside the Adult Detention Center in Fauquier County, Va. A criminal complaint says that she and a 23-year-old inmate were having sex when they were caught in the backseat by a deputy, according to the Fauquier Times. The unidentified inmate, on “trustee status” and allowed to do work outside his center, had allegedly been meeting with Burchfield for a month, the report says. Fauqier County Sherrif Robert Mosier said in a release that the the inmate was found with "unauthorized" cigarettes, clothes and over the coutner vitamins from Burchfield.
She is currently charged with misdemeanor unauthorized delivery to a jail. She left jail on $5,000 bond and has a hearing date scheduled for Friday, according to court records. Sgt. James Hartman told the Daily News that the inmate is not expected to face charges for his alleged parking lot hanky-panky, but had been removd from trustee status. A request for comment from Teresa Burchfield’s lawyer was not immediately returned on Thursday afternoon.
Bobby Burchfield is a longtime Republican lawyer who is listed as chairman for Crossroads GPS, an advocacy group connected to the Bush administration's Karl Rove. He was brought on by the Trump Organization in January to advise against conflict of interest after the President put control of his business with his sons.

I don't see how this is on topic considering this is the Trump thread, not the Trumps lawyers wifes thread.
...^well, the post is indicative of the kind of Christians tRump surrounds himself with...
...big hair, blonde, tempts the weak of mind: all signs of the Cross...
You know the old adage about it being better to be thought a fool than to open your mouth and remove all doubt? Well Trump doesn't.
As part of a rambling and incoherent speech in North Dakota he said, among other dribble, "I know you have a little bit of a drought" which no doubt came as a surprise to the people of North Dakota who until that point were entirely unaware.
He then expressed surprise that droughts occurred 'this far north' and went on to say that it was the opposite of what Houston have and that the people in North Dakota were better off.

Trump and Democrats deal: What was the president thinking? - BBC News
"A fit of pique. It's always possible that the president made a snap decision after his frustration with Mr McConnell and Mr Ryan boiled over. There may be no larger vision behind the move other than this would hurt congressional Republicans who had hurt him and show that, as president, he was the ultimate boss."
The most likely of the possible "whys" put forward. I can't imagine the egotistical over-sensitive brat-child doing anything else.
John le Carré on Trump: ‘Something seriously bad is happening’
Author draws parallels between Donald Trump and rise of 1930s fascism, in rare public appearance at Royal Festival Hal.
John le Carré, one of Britain’s greatest living writers, has spoken of the “toxic” parallels between the rise of Donald Trump and the rise of 1930s fascism.
In a rare public appearance, the 85-year-old novelist and former spy spoke of his disdain for Trump and his despair for the US and the wider world.
“Something truly, seriously bad is happening and from my point of view we have to be awake to that,” he told an audience at the Royal Festival Hall in London.
“These stages that Trump is going through in the United States and the stirring of racial hatred … a kind of burning of the books as he attacks, as he declares real news as fake news, the law becomes fake news, everything becomes fake news.
I think of all things that were happening across Europe in the 1930s, in Spain, in Japan, obviously in Germany. To me, these are absolutely comparable signs of the rise of fascism and it’s contagious, it’s infectious. Fascism is up and running in Poland and Hungary. There’s an encouragement about.”
Even today, Le Carré said, Ang Sang Suu Kyi is speaking of “fake news” in Burma. “These are infectious forms of demagogic behaviour and they are toxic.”
Le Carré was speaking at an event, in aid of the charity Médecins Sans Frontières and which was also beamed to cinemas – to mark the publication of his latest book, A Legacy of Spies, which features the return of his fictional spymaster George Smiley.
Le Carré himself was employed by both MI5 and MI6 before becoming a writer, but he said the service then was a kind of “non-violent fairyland” vastly different to the security services of today.

Another Republican told Axios the president's move was like giving "an entire stockpile of weapons to Democrats and inviting them to take the entire Republican Party hostage".
I can't wait until next year...The president's surprise move has frayed his already strained ties with congressional Republicans. Democrats, who could be heard applauding behind closed doors in a congressional luncheon shortly after the Oval Office meeting, are buoyed by their unexpected victory.
What was the president was thinking?
I can't see his fucking idiot base being too chuffed, either.
