Suck on that you bald orange c u n t.

Donald Trump has slumped to the lowest approval rating of his presidency, with 60% disapproving of his performance as the US president, according to a new national survey.

The figure includes 53% who say they disapprove strongly of his performance in the White House, the first time the national displeasure rating has exceeded 50%, according to a new ABC/Washington Post poll published on Friday morning.

The poll also found that a majority support the special counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia investigation and think Trump should not fire the attorney general, Jeff Sessions.

Just 36% of those asked said they approved of the job Trump is doing, matching his low in surveys carried out since he was inaugurated in January of 2017.

Tangentially related to Trump is what may be one of the most cringeworthy political adverts by the Republican candidate for Florida Governor, Ron DeSantis.

^ Interesting. He's made it all about him supporting Trump and absolutely nothing about policy. Bit risky. Whoever his opponant is will have an easy time countering that vomitous ad.

^maybe not so easy. His opponent is caught up in a corruption scandal that happened on his watch as mayor of Tallahasse. And he's far left running in a state that voted for trump.

I wonder if trump has realized how outside of the "establishment" he's become after this weekend.

I'm guessing tweets about getting shit from "political elites" will be coming soon.

Wasn’t his campaign run on being outside the establishment?

And yet he's embraced, for the most part, a traditional GOP agenda; tax cuts that benefit the wealthy and corporations, increased defense spending, cuts to Medicare, deregulation to benefit businesses at the expense of consumers and the environment...and, of course, supreme court picks that will turn back the clock on social progress in the name of religious extremists. These things would have happened under any Republican president. But what we have with tRUMP is unprecedented corruption in his administration, financial benefits to his business, attacks on the free press and lying as tool of state policy.

An interesting read / diversion on just how big Trump's diehard base actually is: https://www.nzherald.co.nz/world/new...ectid=12118280 (quick answer: not very).

Most interesting of all are the 15% of lemmings who say that there's almost nothing Trump could do to lose their support. I think a few of them post on here.

What are all those things behind him on the left?

His Boy Scout badges? Service deferment medals? McD's Happy Meal collectible pins?

    And draining the swamp?

And you planks bought it. And the drain the swamp.
A: He IS the establishment. Where anyone got the idea he was outside the establishment beats me.
    and
B: By 'drain the swamp' he meant replace the swamp critters with his own swamp critters.

FFS what a load of easily led, simple, naive planks Trumpanzees are.

Omarosa Manigault Newman, the former communications director of the White House Office of Public Liaison, taped "nearly every conversation she had while working at the White House," a source told the news website Axios in a report published Monday.

So Trump who undoubtedly benefited from Comey's ill-timed comments re: investigating Clinton prior to the election is now complaining about the Justice Dept. announcing charges against to GOPers prior to the mid-terms: https://www.nzherald.co.nz/world/new...ectid=12118769

They’e called coins. Usually handed out by a unit’s Commanding Officer. It’s mostly a military thing I think. Give them out kinda like business cards. I’ve got 40 or 50 in a bag somewhere.

Bob Woodward's new book paints a damning portrait of a madman at the helm of the most powerful country on earth.

For you youngsters, Bob Woodward, along with Carl Bernstein broke the story of the Nixon White House cover up of Watergate.
