don't think he was ever a liberal, only playing one

The Fortuner is kinda, vanilla. Not like there is much choice here in LOS.
The bus is good. I do ride it time to time, my favorite is the ancient local open air songtaew things with the wooden bench and you're crammed in there with the Burmese and poor sweaty smilling Thai folk
That's really living!
The more I ride the bicycle the more I hate opperating/travelling any motorized contraptions. I can often go two weeks without having touch the car.
I still gotta drive sometimes in my 26 year old Corolla, bought from the original owner. Cheap as chips to opperate and maintain. Perhaps one of the best cars ever built, certainly one of the best selling.
If I'm not mistaken he did the news bit on SNL years ago. He was quite lame. I think he turned to the dark side after 9/11. He was a big proponent of the Iraq and Afganistan wars.
I wonder why the president elect is declaring his policy intentions via twitter....could it be that he strictly controls what's released to the public?

It's pretty much how he controls the lame stream media. He leads them around by the nose with his outrageous tweets. Meanwhile he's got a team of really smart motherfuckers doing the leg work.
It's how he won the election.
What most amazing is the bird brained media still don't quite get that they've been rendered impotent and irrelevant.
No one wants to give The Donald credit for his, what amounts to a coup d'etat. Both sides, rethugs and libtards are quite literaly shitting themselves in hysteria over what just happenned.
And whats even more funny they continue to underestimate his antics, futher making themselves irrelevant.
Ya gotta love it.
I never really liked Trump but ya gotta admire what he's pulled off.
And I'd wager he's got more tricks up his sleeve!
The big question in how the giant banking cartels deal, because the whole show is propped up on their phony money.
It's gonna be an interesting year ahead, me thinks.
Ain't nothing more than says "I'm Presidental!" by posting on twitter...Quote:

Yes he has....I wonder if the Chinese think it's all just BS twitter posts, or if the Russians are going to engage in a new arms race, due to his twitter posts or if the workers that are going to be laid off due to his twitter posts "love it".Quote:

They will talk turkey, with the Donald.
And very likely with reduced taxes and regulations much business will return to the USA.
Already we're seeing what the smart money is doing, they are getting ready to deal.
Which are?Quote:

Somebody needs to check Ted Nugent's schedule for that weekend. I think squirrel hunting season is over by then.
I would define as trolls rather than controls with a hungry media taking the bait every time. Until 20 Jan and even after, his tweets are at best worth mention but hardly earth shaking "breaking news".Quote:

No doubt he will continue post his 2 AM thoughts on twitter after his inauguration but no matter his thoughts he will quickly realize they mean nothing until they are implemented. Implemented via the system Trump will not change. Specifically legislation/funding by Congress, UN resolutions, bilateral trade agreements and constitutionality as determined by the supreme court.
Trump can tweet until his little hands and fingers are exhausted but many of the promises he has made to his supporters simply ain't going to make it through the system.
Welcome to the reality of domestic politics and international diplomacy "swamp" President Trump. All you can do is change a few alligators but you'll never drain it.
Yeah, the guy has zero interest in changing the system or doing anything else except for making him and his friends more money. He has the exact same interest as every other Rich douchebag who gets his hands on power in Washington. And trust me, when it comes to getting things through Washington to serve those interests, he will find life very easy.
Thats a pretty good assessment overall. A lot of what gets reported as "election promises" should be viewed as statements of intent instead of promises. Ie. This is what I would like to do, if I can; if it's possible)
Other things like "draining the swamp" are just the kind of colorful rhetoric often heard in election campaigns. The fact that an entire administration is being changed and new people placed in office, could be interpreted as "draining the swamp" Any candidate could have used a phrase like that. It's just a catchy way of saying "I'm gonna change a lot of things" It remains to be seen if the "swamp" gets drained or not.
The "wall" will become an interesting piece of boondoggle for the opposition but again, it's not a really big stretch for him to actually build substantial sections of wall across parts of the border that are most vulnerable to illegal crossings. Nobody is likely to build a fokin wall all the way from the Pacific to the Gulf of Mexico... There's already quite a bit of fencing in place. Most likely the "wall" is just a way of saying "I'm gonna make it a hell of a lot harder for people to cross the border illegally" A wall would not keep people out anyway unless it was very well guarded.
Anyone who's been around politics for a few decades knows that "promises" are not really promises at all, no matter who is running for high political office, and we often have to be able to read between the lines more than reading the actual lines.
Almost every utterance the Donald makes is open to a range of interpretations....with the opposing side taking the most negative slant possible.
That's politics.
I've read that because of security controls he will not be able to use his same smart phone. The one he will be furnished will not have Twitter. In order for him to keep Tweeting he will have to do it through an aide with access to a computer or smart phone. This will make it much harder for him to keep up his 2am rants.Quote:

Trump will find his long list of promises will not happen or at best be subject to compromise to satisfy the "system". There will be no brick and mortor wall. There will be no round up and deportation of 11.5 million illegals. There will be no new trade treaties which will bring significant jobs to US workers. Relationships with Russia or China will not be more friendly but likely less so. Jobs via infrastructure investment will happen but not to the degree claimed by Trump. Any attempt to have US citizens register if they belong to a particular religion ain't going to happen. Banning travel from Muslim countries to the US ain't going to happen.
Promises likely to be kept. ACA will be replaced and become known as Trump care. Military spending will increase. His tax bill or something close will pass with little or no benefit to the majority voting for him.
Trump is now President (a politician) not an Emperor. He will be subject to the same system and influence faced by all Presidents. No matter what he does he will be criticized. Enjoy Donald! Keep those tweets attacking your critics coming. You are going to be a busy boy.
you are all wrong about Trump and keep underestimating him, like you all did during the campaign
watch and learn,
What do you think he is going to do exactly?
He will also put the final nail in the coffin of the two state solution. He will move the US embassy to Jerusalem. It is unclear what he will be able to do regarding the Iran nuke deal since it is a multilateral agreement. But the agreement will unravel and Iran will likely start its enrichment program back up. The shit may hit the fan.Quote:
