"Earlier this summer, a judge in New York granted Orta permission to stay in Nevada, where his wife lives, until October. Then he'll have to fly back to New York to start a four-year prison sentence, the result of a plea deal on gun and drug charges stemming back to 2014.


At first glance this joke of an article is intended to make the viewer think this person is getting 4 years in prison for filming a cop. It's only buried in the article that the 4 years is for illegal gun possession and drug charges for which he accepted a plea deal and plead guilty.

I had to post it as a picture using the Windows snipping tool because the article is protected, you cannot copy and paste it.

The Huffington Post is so liberally biased they will resort to deliberately misleading their readers to make a story sound horrible when the reality is completely different.

Why do you not point out how often it happens in the right wing alternate reality? Sites like Breitbart, fox and a slew of other right wing "news" sources do it daily and are much more aggressive in their distortions.

The headline of the article makes it appear that he is going to jail for filming the death , but he is going to jail on gun and drugs charges .
Is four years jails an expected sentence for his crimes ?
Is he getting victimised for filming or is the filing that he done irrelevant to his sentence ?

Having said that, of course the Huffington Post has a liberal bias. Did you just discover that?

In real terms, The Huffington Post Corporate Empire has an establishment bias.

Fooling most with a "progressive" [whatever that is] clothing that maintains a manipulative lean of deeper suppressive conservative passion.

Yet, planting the ideals, over and again, that they gather such staunch Liberalism.
