How I Learned To Stop Worrying And Love Hillary Clinton

Are all the scandals and accusations made against her for the last 20 years true? Maybe one or two but they are mostly just politically motivated. Did she lie to the congress and the FBI about sending classified material? I doubt it, most of her mail was handled by her staff and as far as the investigation goes she was probably just repeating what her lawyers told her. Benghazi? Total BS. A witchhunt. None of her actions led to the deaths of Amb. Stevens or the other Americans. Again, she told the story that the CIA analysts prepared at the time and were always subject to change based on new information. Was she a great secretary of state? Adequate but the job is mainly public relations and negotiations and rarely yields any big achievements. Is she ambitious? Certainly. Does she play by the rules? No, she certainly acts like she is above them. Do I love her? No, but I will vote for her. Do I hate her? No. But I do hate Trump and everything he stands for and my vote will not be an affirmation of Hillary Clinton. It will be a vote cast against Donald Trump, the most dangerous man to run for the office of president in history.

She is a criminal at the highest level. Whether she intentionally sent the emails or not, anyone else would have been done, and prisoned for negligence of sensitive material.

Well, the punishment is usually firing or cessation of access to sensitive information. Don't clutch your pearls too tightly.

I am starting to think that Trump would actually be a better choice,

he is not that much of a nutter, but play one, he is a good actor

he is very liberal, actually to the left of Hillary and Obama combined

The day I learn to love Hillary is the day I'll start worrying. She's a Toady, willing to fellate all the right people and pay obeisance to the right interests- thus well suited for office. She'll win.

    Hillary Clinton’s Scandal Mistake
    by Jeffrey Toobin

Hillary Clinton’s candidacy for President is widely, and aptly, described as historic. Here’s one of the reasons: If she wins, she will have spent a longer time under criminal investigation than any President in history. Why is this? Is she uniquely corrupt? Unduly targeted?

The answers are less than straightforward. The appropriate analysis, it seems, is a political riff on Bayes’s theorem. Clinton’s behavior, and the responses to it, have continued to evolve in reaction to unfolding events.

Clinton’s first experience with a criminal investigation came with Whitewater, the name given to various activities centered around a money-losing land deal that she and her husband invested in during the nineteen-eighties. Republican (and journalistic) claims of illegality in connection with the investment led to the appointment of a special prosecutor, Robert Fiske, in 1994. Fiske quickly cleared the Clintons of allegations of wrongdoing that had arisen in connection with an earlier investigation of Whitewater, as well as in the suicide of their friend and colleague Vincent Foster. Shortly after Fiske’s report, however, the court in charge of the case, under the independent-counsel law, replaced Fiske with Kenneth Starr, and Clinton’s true ordeal began.

Starr and his successors spent eight years, and more than seventy million dollars, on an investigation that began with the remains of the Whitewater probe and metastasized into an open-ended search-and-destroy mission into the personal and political lives of Bill and Hillary Clinton. Only true nineties-trivia buffs will be able to recall the full range of the accusations, which included Travelgate, Filegate, and the mystery of the missing (then found) Rose Law Firm billing records. The Clintons were pursued by a prosecutorial office fired up with political rage, but the investigation, as far as she was concerned, came to naught. The lesson she took was that Republicans used criminal investigations as a political weapon against her. In what remains her most famous utterance as a public figure, she asserted, with some justification, that there was “a vast right-wing conspiracy” out to get her family.

Starr did find pay dirt, of a sort, when he learned that Bill Clinton had lied about his relationship with Monica Lewinsky, a former White House intern, in his deposition in a sexual-harassment lawsuit brought by Paula Jones, a former Arkansas state employee, giving the prosecutor the ammunition to present evidence purportedly justifying impeachment to the House of Representatives. A bill of impeachment passed the House, but the Senate failed to convict the President, and the experience hardened the Clintons’ belief that ethics investigations existed primarily to achieve political, not legal, ends.

It was against this backdrop that the story of Secretary Clinton’s private e-mail server came to light. That Clinton would even install such a rattletrap system suggests the influence of the Starr legacy. Clinton wanted a way to shield her personal business (which was her right) while also conducting State Department business on the same e-mail account. As a Washington veteran, she should have known that such a system was fraught with peril. Most government officials avoid the problem by keeping a separate account, like one on Gmail, for private e-mail. Clinton could have done that and avoided the problems, but instead she jerry-rigged a system that supposedly could handle both personal and professional work. It was a terrible idea.

When first confronted by reports about the e-mails, Clinton reacted like a cornered perp, denying everything. She had to know (as most everyone in Washington does) that the government vastly overclassifies information, so her flat denial that there had been any classified information on her server was destined to be disproved, as it was. Retreating from that line, she said that nothing “marked” classified was on her server, and that, too, turned out to be wrong. (Not very wrong; there were just a few classification marks among her thousands of e-mails, and even those may have been mistakenly applied.) But Clinton’s visceral distaste for being the target of partisan smears led her to overreact, overdeny, and make a bad situation worse. As a victim of partisan vendettas, she couldn’t recognize a good-faith F.B.I. investigation when she saw one. But that’s what the F.B.I. delivered, in the form of a public scolding from Director James Comey (which she deserved), as well as a demurral of criminal prosecution (which was also correct).

Clinton has committed no crimes with regard to her e-mails, but she has developed an unhealthy relationship with her pursuers, who surely will only redouble their efforts if she becomes President. Burned in the past, she has become excessively defensive, and harms herself more than those who long to bring her down. The next time she’s under fire—and there will be a next time—Clinton would be best advised to forget her past and act like she hasn’t seen it all before.

It's all show for entertainment purposes only. These people are character's to the point that it is literally unbelievable that any of them would be allowed to run a country.

    The demorats and Free Speech.

Political correctness is a dem invention and is mildly anti free speech, trying to stifle it. This has been taken further with Micro agressions again a dem invention and again trying to stifle free speech. Then we have Global Warming an open dem attack on free speech and scientific discussion. This policy of anti free speech on the democrats part is growing not shrinking and the only political movements we can compare that with are communism and Nazis as well as spoofed in the book animal farm where sheep would be used to chant mindless slogans to silence opposition.

The dems and Freedom of Assembly.

This election have seen the dems openly try to interrupt/stop the republicans political meetings. The dems leadership distances itself openly from these actions but the people must get the ideas, orders from somewhere. What political organizations in the past used to block their opponents meetings? This is the new democratic policy regarding any and all opposition. This even includes Trump who has been a democrat most of his life.

The dems and Freedom of Religion.

America was founded on this principle but now all religions are held in contempt bye the dems except for Islam, only because they fear it, and what will be done to them. In fact the dems have gone so far as to even take nuns and holy orders to court over ridiculous things like providing birth control which is against their religious values. When that specific birth control is easily obtained elsewhere, this is being done for the sole purpose of shoving the dems political values down others throats in their growing war on religion.

This is the direction the Demorat party is taking, its not the party of my youth, of Bill Clinton. Its no longer democratic, no free speech, moving against freedom of assembly, freedom of religion and freedom of science. I betcha we will see more in the upcoming months.

Its becoming an abomination, its as if the Manchurian Candidate has taken control of the democrats and is moving for the country next. The present onslaught on the police forces is rumored that the dems want to federalize the cities forces into a federally controlled force instead of independent forces moving one step closer to a.......

    Who said-

“She’s got dyed blonde hair and pouty lips, and a steely blue stare, like a sadistic nurse in a mental hospital …”

    Britain's new Foreign Secretary.

To ask the reader to support Hillary means asking you to forget all those worrying allegations that Ambrose Evans-Pritchard used to report so brilliantly in these pages: the funny goings-on with the White House travel office, the anomalies in the position of poor Vince Foster’s gun, the curious business of the drug-runners at the Rena airfield and the Whitewater real estate imbroglio.

How could I possibly emit the merest peep of support for a woman who seems to have acted out the role of First Lady, from 1993 to 2000, like a mixture between Cherie Blair and Lady Macbeth, stamping her heel, bawling out subordinates and frisbeeing ashtrays at her erring husband?

How can I possibly want Hillary? I mean, she represents, on the face of it, everything I came into politics to oppose: not just a general desire to raise taxes and nationalise things, but an all-round purse-lipped political correctness….

Unless I am much mistaken, the Clinton marriage is still standing, a shell-scarred monument to the triumph of hope over experience; and the nub of the matter is that I am prepared to pay the price of supporting Hillary just to get Bill Clinton once again padding over the shag pile carpet of the Oval Office, even if it is only to bring his wife a cup of tea….

For all who love America, it is time to think of supporting Hillary, not because we necessarily want her for herself but because we want Bill in the role of First Husband. And if Bill can deal with Hillary, he can surely deal with any global crisis.

If you follow what Obama and the dems are setting up with scanning our phone calls, internet, following our credit card use, bus pass, train passs......... They are setting up the beginings of big brother. Have us seen the pics of the phone processing info/storage centre being built in Idaho? its like multiple football stadiums in size. Snowden revealed a lot, showed how the dems lie and lie to us, to congress to everyone, its not the repubs tho I'm sure some agree with the dems, that the rich have to control the little people.

If you look at all of obamas positions before becoming pres he was the good guy and for us. But once hes in power ohoh, and look what the dems do to whistleblowers! They are the most revengeful govt to those who reveal what the dems are doing. Remember this is hillarys party and govt! Look at the revelations of hillarys speeches to wall street, the very same thing, say one thing to the little people [us] and then another to the people in power.

A vote for Hillary is a vote for big brother, sure its in its infancy but the dems are setting it up. Sure some parts of it can be justified because of the war on terror, but 99 per of the people they are watching are us, the ordinary......

    It starts.
