Cameron wearing a cardigan ... brings to mind some useless information:

The cardigan is named after the 7th Earl of Cardigan who led the Charge of the Light Brigade.

The way the 'Remain' group have campaigned reminds me of the way a simple miscommunication led the Light Brigade to attack the wrong target and get slaughtered. The attempts to scare the population into voting to remain is backfiring and, quite simply, completely unnecessary.

In Boris's own words:
"We want, in an ideal world, to stay in a reformed European Union but I think the price of getting out is lower than it’s ever been. It’s better for us to stay in, but to stay in a reformed EU. That’s where I am.”

Pulling out of the EU is not only a defeatist attitude that opens the door to Nationalism (the very enemy of peace that the EU has strived to create within Europe), it fails to address the real problem of refugee and economic migration into Europe.

The Press and the Leave Campaign conveniently package Refugees, EU National migrants and non-EU National migrants into one group ... migrants and condemn the EU laws for their influx into the UK.

How many Syrian refugees has the UK actually taken in? The Government is planning to settle around 20,000 by the end of 2020...doesn't that make you feel just a little sick? Say what you like about immigration numbers but only 20,000 Refugees over 5 years?

The EU was not responsible for the relaxation of immigration laws, during the Blair Government, that saw an influx of East Europeans into the UK. The fact that the UK did this unilaterally was the main reason for the large number of Polish and other migrants. Inside or outside the EU, if UK companies require cheap labour, they will do this again, happily taking immigrants from Turkey or anywhere else. It is this greed that you have been feeding by allowing the UK to not sign up to the EU Social Chapter that protects workers and working hours.

As for the NHS, with a £317 million/day budget; nice idea but the model is outdated and doesn't fulfil today's needs. It is another UK past-its-time that no-one wants to admit requires fundamental changes. I would love to see it remodelled to have a combination of employer/employee shared and private funding schemes with non-citizens obtaining treatment through government insurance.

Cameron is leading the Charge of the Light Brigade down the wrong valley and will meet his death against the cannons of Boris...but Brexit is not the way forward for the UK.
