Yes she came on a settlement visa as in controlled immigration which I totally agree with. Every non UK citizen should require a visa if they wish to work and live in the UK and hopefully that will be a reality in a few years. Stopping this discrimination against non EU citizens.

Easily understood if one already has knowledge of the U.K. Visa system. But for those that don't know about the current U.K visa program, they would struggle, as it is complicated.
