The BBC is in full-on Remain life support mode as the polls indicate Leave is ahead despite all the OTT alarmist scaremongering by the Eton toffs and friends, or perhaps because of it.
We’ve already looked at the BBC’s false claims that the economy is in freefall because of EU referendum uncertainty and today we bring you yet another example…..Manufacturing has picked up and not fallen as Remain predicts but apparently even if the economy has an upward trend this is still bad news according to the BBC…

I’m sorry, what? Manufacturing activity rose and that is a cause for concern…due to the referendum?

Overall new orders rose in May.

So manufacturing rose above expectations and there were new orders in May….what’s the problem?
Seems like the BBC is making it up as it goes along….just feeding us Remain campaign propaganda. The US economy is showing exactly the same trends as ours and they are not having an EU referendum, manufacturing in the UK rose in May when it should have been plummeting fast if Remain are to be believed and the BBC paints a gloomy picture blaming it all on the referendum.
The BBC is a shameless propagandist for Remain and is treating its audience with contempt…contempt for their intelligence and contempt for their views and right to have impartial information…but what’s new?

All quiet in Bavaria after my outburst yesterday...it would appear they are more than a little concerned that a smaller version of Brexit may well occur before the summer ends...

...I think they need to suffer a little longer.

Meanwhile, time to get that Brexit machine going big time Boris. Forget the silly stuff and come up with a master plan with the UK pulling out of the EU completely. It may cost a little more in the short term, but explain why and the long term benefits.

Let the EU sink under the low pressure they are currently suffering from (pun intended)

As Mr Norton indicated in an earlier post 'better the devil you know than the devil you don't'. Well that's how I interpretative it.

Will the £/Baht rate be better or worse after the vote? Why hasn't anybody asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer?

It will be worse if there is a vote to leave and it will be better if we remain in the EEC. Unquestionably we should leave but, purely for selfish reasons, I shall be voting to remain so as to have a better exchange rate when I move to Thailand.

When I leave the UK I will not care about the UK as long as it sends me my pension every month. The regulations relating to pensions are going to change significantly soon and I may have the option of selling my annuities and cutting still more ties with the UK.

Europe has helped to ruin the UK and it is in part responsible for me seeking to leave.

Most I ask say leave but I recon they will find a way to fiddle the thing to make us stay.

If we do go , they will all want out.

I posted the same as this earlier. When we first had a referendum back in '72/'73 I knew of nobody that wanted to join. But join was the claimed decision. In those 40 odd years I still know of no one that voted in favour. :confused:

I knew many that were in favour and many that were against. My Father was an Enoch Powell supporter and was vehemently opposed to the UK entry into the Common Market, and he still is.

Having lived in Europe for much of the 60's, I was of the opinion that the real reason was the moving of SHAPE from Fontainebleau to Mons due to CdG. Dad never forgave the frogs for that and the humiliation that was put upon HM when the UK was refused membership earlier.

The EU vote allocation based on population? Was that initially to stop Germany having too much of a say but came back to haunt them when the wall collapsed with population increase.

It should be on an economy based quota rather than population so that those paying into the club get to speak the loudest.

The other EU countries are dreading the possibility of Brexit. Germany is scared shitless that the UK will leave. No-one dare speak up in case it used against them...and it will be.

New German laws being introduced next year will force many EU professionals out of their Country, to be replaced with uneducated migrants that will sink German industry to the level of Volkswagon within fives years...ie untouchables!

Boris has spotted a winner but is failing to run with it in the way of a true leader. He needs to ignore any worries and show the way. I'm sure the majority would run with him if the path was suitably lit.

Since VAT is an EU tax, introduced in the UK when joining the Common Market, I would have expected the Leave campaign to jump on this and vow to remove it completely.
