"It has often been said that power corrupts. But it is perhaps equally important to realize that weakness, too, corrupts. Power corrupts the few, while weakness corrupts the many. Hatred, malice, rudeness, intolerance, and suspicion are the faults of weakness. The resentment of the weak does not spring from any injustice done to them but from their sense of inadequacy and impotence. We cannot win the weak by sharing our wealth with them. They feel our generosity as oppression."
- Eric Hoffer
No offence but fuk Germany they were trying to make Britain look bad shouting and screaming about how many refugees (economic migrants) they were taking in and how welcoming they were and Britain should do the same, now they realise they've fuked up and reintroduced border controls, those same border controls that they castigate Britain for.
They were rightQuote:

We are refugees fleeing a war zone, it's so scary we left our women and children behind.

I would suspect the population per sq. Km is somewhat less in Germany than other countries, the job availability is higher and the benefits on par. The German economy/people have welcomed economic migrants into it's country for decades. They tend to do the bottom rung jobs you know.Quote:

It's payback time, destroy my country, my family, my job, but most of all leave me a destroyed environment has it's consequences.
I will come to your country and make sure you are terrorised until YOU leave it. Somebody has not seen past the "mission accomplished" :)banner or possibly it was always in the plan. Whichever, it's an truly evil thing to do to any man, woman or child in any country.

Do we, really? Radical left does. However, official figures say it's mostly males. What kind of a man leaves his wife and children behind in war zone and escapes to nice life with euro social security? And you euros want that man to resettle your sorry continent. Fock me (btw UK is not in europe)Quote:

It seems some distance through the EU to actually reach Germany. If the true reason for getting to the EU was to get away from a war zone why didn't the poor ........... refugees stop at any of the previous 6, 7 or 8 EU countries? It just seems a long way to go to rid yourselves of bombings and sniper fire, whilst carrying your wife and babies in your arms!
Or can we finally blame the Greeks for causing this headache? Blowback for the way the rest of the EU treated them. :)

PressTV-Germany temporarily exits Schengen system
I remember some news report about refugees getting all the way to Sweden, but when the bus stopped in some rural area outside Stockholm where they were about to given shelter and health care, "refugees" invaded their own bus and demanded to go to Stockholm and bright lights. Coming from war zone, I'd expect them to be happy just to have safety for their families, except they are males who left their families behindQuote:

SKY News live in Lesbos, Greece now, can't see any women and children there either, thousands of men though.
The plan could well be to get to the chosen destination and settled in (a home and on benefits) then get some do-gooder outfit to bring (bus, fly) the family to reunite.
Add the wife and 2 kids each and the number of 'refugees' rises somewhat.
Of course it is, hence the majority are economic migrants not genuine refugees, I can only speak for myself but if I was fleeing a war zone in fear of my and my families life I wouldn't be leaving my wife and daughter behind but if I was just off on a jolly to find a new job in a prosperous country that's another matter. :)
