and i know how you guys like a bit of space.
still that's the way it spills from my err brain.

    tonight i'm sober.

maybe it's something you don't wanna hear cause it is disturbing and not what one wants to hear as it negates everything you've ever known.

cos everybody wants an instant result. instant coffee and now.

are you sober when reading my posts ? curious.

    BTK,
I am open to listen to or read most everything when it comes across in a comprehensible manner. While you may post something interesting it gives me a headache to try and read what you write let alone try and make sense of it.

I am always sober when reading and responding to posts. Maybe thats the problem, I need to be inebriated to understand what a drunk person is writing.

    Nice read S Landreth. The study and established index is inclusive of the citizen living in their said country. Of course its probably jaded a bit as people in many countries have never lived outside of it thus have a limited comparison. Be an interesting study to poll expats and compare it to their home country. One quote stuck with me through the report;

“Economic freedom is not just inherently valuable; it empowers individuals to exercise other freedoms.”

How true that quote is why some of us have moved to another country to enjoy that freedom. I know I could not stay in the US unless my plan was to work until I died(or damn close). With all the mandatory insurance and medical requirements and laws coupled with property tax and likely a mortgage it would take a lot of cash. Unless one is extremely wealthy that freedom is not achievable. It remains an illusion.

This human freedom thing is a bit subjective IMO.

Take Mother Teresa or that Ghandi feller - both were totally free within their own minds irregardless of the constraints society put on them.

You wanna live in the US or LOS? Tham jai khun, man

Free from the constraints of society insofar as one was an indocrinated Jeezus-wheezer who enriched herself at the expense of others suffering, and the other a wife abusing racist with an unnatural interest in young girls and urine.

United States Drops In Overall Freedom Ranking

    CASEY HARPER
    08/18/2015

A new report on the freedom of countries around the world ranks the United States 20th, putting countries like Chile and the United Kingdom ahead of the U.S.

Last year, the U.S. was ranked 17th, but a steady decline of economic freedom and “rule of law” has dropped the level of freedom, according to the Cato Institute, Fraser Institute and the Swiss Liberales Institut, which created the study together.

^ Eminent Domain is how GWB confiscated the land to get the new Texas Rangers baseball stadium built when he was a minority owner of the team.
