Jeez - talk about an "Entitled Dynasty"

But then America gets the best President they can afford.

Anyhow - off with the bush or no nooky.

The teabaggers and racists in the republican party will not let Jeb become the nominee.
So it's racist to expect people to take the legal route in the immigration process?

    That’s not what I wrote.

    I wrote:

    And stand by it.

Examples (from a right-wing site): Bush: Illegal immigration an “act of love,” not a felony « Hot Air

    Jeb’s wife is Mexican, no?
Go away and don’t come back, both of them. He is a traitor to the Country.
Jeb,drive around Houston but stay in the city limits and see what that “love”has done turning neighborhoods into hoods.
Does anyone know these types of illegals? Most of them in my area are
in gangs and/or living in illegal housing. That’s the reality of illegal immigration…crime, ruined neighborhoods and poor schools.
they come to our nation uninvited or over stay their invites.
    they use our welfare system.
    they undercut our workers.
    they undercut rule of law.
they demand we cater to their deficiencies, “press 1 for English”…
when they group up they talk about retaking parts of the USA they think Mexico should still own.
    they degrade the school systems.
    they bring diseases with them.
they ruin neighborhoods with their over crowding.
they ruin neighborhoods with their gang memberships.
they bring drugs across the border and end up with ties to drug cartels that are not easily broken.
they bring with them third world ideals and socialist goals.
    they do not assimilate.

It certainly looks like Jeb Bush will attempt to run. At least he is in the early stages.

Public comments (placating illegals) and meeting with certain groups.

Jeb would have been the best and only of the brothers that at least had brains to be potus but instead, the The Smirking Chimp was anointed by the GOP in 2000.

Good or not, it's just the name. Clinton vs. Bush.....again.

it certainly looks that way to whom?

    not to me.

IMO, he knows he doesn't have a chance of getting through the primaries...and even if he did, he'd lose to hillary.

2020 or 2024 is another matter altogether.

Ted Cruz has gained attention but little else

After leading a losing and disastrous gambit that shut down the government over Obamacare last year, Senator Ted Cruz brushed his critics aside. “I’m not serving in office because I desperately needed 99 new friends.” Fair enough — no one would confuse him for a Dale Carnegie groupie. But the fact remains that to be an effective senator, the Texas Republican needs to get other members to work with him. And, at the moment, the collective membership of the world’s greatest deliberative body would rather stick needles in their eyes.

Last week, Cruz brought the 113th session of Congress to a painful close, keeping senators in D.C. for a Saturday session, pressing a “constitutional point of order” which attracted just 22 votes, and paving the way for Harry Reid to speed consideration on dozens of nominations for President Obama. Cruz ultimately apologized to his fellow Republicans for the schedule “inconvenience,” while Democrats took to Twitter thanking him for making possible the approval of a controversial pick for surgeon general.
Ted Cruz has gained attention but little else - Opinion - The Boston Globe

This was recently written by John Sununu- previously a republican senator. Cruz is popular among the sort of teabag set that were convinced Obama was a manchurian candidate born in Kenya, and that gunliness is next to godliness. By and large, he is only scorned elsewhere and has been a thorn in the side of the GOP and Congressional process in general- to no particular avail, except damaging his own parties broad electoral appeal. With all the low brow attention he fawns for, I expect him to end up in RW media just like his mentor Sarah Palin- and to be just as quickly forgotten.

i'd like to thank ted cruz for being personally responsible for getting obama's choice for surgeon general through the senate.

The Senate’s confirmation of Vivek Murthy to surgeon general on Monday gave Democrats a chance to troll GOP firebrand Ted Cruz on Twitter.
Implying the Republican senator paved the way for a vote after over 500 days without a surgeon general, the leadership staff of Senate Democrats, David Axelrod and the communications director for Sen. Harry Reid were among those who "thanked" Cruz.

From the same CNN/ORC poll (dated Dec. 18-21, 2014) above.

Let’s look at that Cruz the Losers numbers.

In November 2014 Cruz the Loser was at 7% and in December 2014 Cruz the Loser was at 4%. Cruz the Loser dropped by 43%. The only person doing worse is Paul (trickle down) Ryan with a 44% drop.

If Cruz the Loser continues his streak, next month (January 2015) he’ll be at 2%.

In February, Cruz the Loser will be at 1%. Ya see where I’m going with this?

By April 2015 Cruz the Loser numbers will be so low (if possible) there will be no reason to include his name in a poll (maybe just for fun).

And some say he’s just getting started. Seems as if Cruz the Loser has fizzled out already.
Keep your friends close and your enemies closer.
