The Amristanis are involved in another illegal act inside Syria.
The Turkish armed forces and Ameristani planner, air force assets, arms, weapons etc are being used for an invasion from the north by Turkey and from the west by "good" terrorists.
"Syrian government officials said that any side willing to fight terrorism on the Syrian territory should cooperate with the authorities and the Syrian Army, “which has been fighting terrorism for over five years,” as reported by SANA news agency.Syrian government called the Turkish operation a “blatant violation of the sovereignty” of Syria, adding that “replacing” Islamic State with “other terrorist organizations backed directly by Turkey” cannot be regarded as a fight against terrorism."
Against the UN charter, against international laws and against the express wishes of the Syrian government Ameristani forces are invading yet another sovereign country.
It is like the Chinese army invading Texas assisted by Mexicans and Russian air forces. But hey Ameristan is an unexceptional country led by unexceptional leaders and supported by unexceptional idiots. Around the world and here on TD.

Kurd forces must pull back: Biden - Global Times

“We’ve put a lid on the Kurds moving north, or at least doing so if they want any support from us, which I think is a fairly significant piece of leverage,” the US official told the WSJ. “So for the moment I think we’ve put a lid on the biggest concern that the Turks have, which I think gives us some breathing space to make sure this operation in Jarabulus [sic] is done the right way and that we and the Turks do it together.”

"American jets targeting Islamic State in Raqqa, Syria may have killed an unknown number of civilians during an airstrike Tuesday, the US Central Command has said.
“Reports indicate that what appeared to be a non-military vehicle drove into the target area after the weapon was released from the aircraft,” CENTCOM said in a statement Wednesday, referring to Tuesday’s airstrike near the self-proclaimed capital of Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS/ISIL).“The vehicle's occupants may have perished as a result of the strike.”
Let's await the "local" reporter to tweet to the sleeping millions and the "white helmets" to provide us some videos and photos, before we call this an outrage against humanity/civilians/children around the world.
One wonders why the Syrians don't take actions under the "Right to protect" UN agreed actions acceptable to protect it's civilians from terrorist organisations.Or is it only the prerogative of the "worlds only superpower"?
One wonders if the "Kurds" in this report, regarding an attack on Syrian Army soldiers/positions are part of the same "Kurds" currently being assisted, armed, directed and fed by the "Crusader Coalition" in western Syria.
Syrian army, Kurdish fighters reach new ceasefire in Hasakah - Global Times
"The Kurdish fighters and the Syrian army have reached a new ceasefire in the province of Hasakah, just days after a previous truce was shattered with intensified confrontation, Syria's national TV reported Tuesday.
The new ceasefire has supposedly gone into effect at 2 p.m. local time (1100 GMT) Tuesday, said the report, adding that several points have been agreed upon.
The Syrian forces and security apparatus as well as the Kurdish security force, called Assayish, will remain in their positions in Haskah, according to the deal.
The news agreement also includes opening all blocked routes in Hasakah city by the Kurdish fighters, who have mounted a wide-scale offensive recently to push the government out of Hasakah, a city that has largely become controlled by the Kurds.
The new truce also provides for exchanging prisoners and wounded people at 9 p.m. local time (1800 GMT).
Efforts will continue be made to resolve the Kurdish issue, said the report, adding that roads will be opened inside Hasakah and Qamishli city toward the military positions in and outside the city.
The ceasefire deal is the second to be reached in recent days, as the tension between the Kurds and the Syrian government has hit an unprecedented high.
A day earlier, state news agency SANA accused the Kurds of breaking a truce reached on Sunday, saying the Kurdish fighters attacked several government institutions.
A source in the city told Xinhua that the Kurds actually took control of several government positions, in their bid to shrink the government presence in that area to a small security zone"
Maybe harry will have a different name for them, which of course means all the difference. I suppose the labelled, "Assayish", could possibly be "good terrorists", to the crusader coalition.
Will the" white helmets" and the local "reporters" throw some light on this please?
It would seem that Turkey is currently shelling the Kurds and killing them, plus of course the usual collateral damage, while the US is supplying the same Kurds who are said to be having the most success fighting against IS.
The US the Kurds and Turkey are both supposed to be fighting IS but Turkey, Syria and the US are scared of the success the Kurds are having for they worry that the kurds want a Kurdish homeland around the Turkey Syrian border where they have always lived.
Not knowing which way their A holes are pointing the great US is having a dollar each way by supplying the Kurds who are fighting IS and supplying Turkey which is killing the Kurds.

But the arms manufacturers who make up something like 10% of US GDP are making record profits so all good.
Note ; overseas sales of arms make up about 3% of US GDP the rest is domestic arms sales both to the military and private owners.

Great, we've managed to find some more friendly terrorists. I hear they're going to trap those nasty Kurds and Syrians in a swift pincer movement with America and Turkey from the north and the IS from the south, then blame Putin. No, Israel.
This time next year TD warmongers will be whining that they had nothing to do with anything and the death toll and refugee tsunamis are all down to Bush, as Europe and the ME sink irretrievably into the mire.
Anyone trusting the Turks further than you could lift up and chuck the country needs serious help.
Another real smart Obama tactic, throw in with the Turks.
Ya like it is a new thing. Obama's tactic. Fucking moron.Quote:

Are the bombs still there or have they been moved to Bulgaria, Israel, ISIS camp No.2 ............ Maybe the Russians/ Turks/ Syrians/Iranians/ Hezbollah / Chinese have stolen them already ? How many are meant to be there, how many of the bombs have been misplaced. Does it really matter any more?
I suspect our resident muscle suits won't like that one bit; I mean, the mere suggestion...
Meanwhile the Pentagon's trying to put the lid on 70k 'small arms' gone missing in the arena, one minute they were there and next gone, just like thousands of new vehicles that the IS just happened upon and forty-something tons of crisp $$ bills, but that's old news so it didn't really happen though a more recent missing $6bn did; wonder where that went. Tip of the iceberg, and they own nukes!
While this threads's about getting rid of the IS, America seems to be doing a fine job with self flagellation whilst aiding our friend the enemy, and Europe managed to resolve its part of the mess by committing cultural suicide.
But Obama's on it and if not then our warriors, so either way we're saved.

I see where Turkey has now decided to finaly get militarily involved now that the Kurds are pushing ISIS out of kurdish territory in Iraq. Obvious why. Turks do not want kurds to end up with control of the area. Turks and Russia will be cooperating in the war effort. US is backing kurds and is now faced with two "allies" who are at odds with each other. Another fine mess US involvement in the region has caused. Reality is Russia, Iran and now Turkey are the major players in the region. The US is in fact a nonplayer. Time to declare victory and get out of the region. Somewhere the US never should have been involved in the first place.
Spot on.
Nothing personal and no disrespect to hotheads that shame themselves by clinging to ignorance and abuse, but calm and considered common sense as you've just posted seems to be a rarity.
The Kurds, Syria, the IS, Iran and Russia all have fairly clear objectives in the region, with most of them and several small fry fighting for survival and millions of civilians under threat. Meanwhile, America needs to show itself as the solution to the region's illness, though Obama put paid to this notion by abdicating America's authority against the IS to a Russia that also supports Assad. This leaves Turkey - Turkey! - as the west's most trusted ally even though it straddles genocide among other objectives that collide head on with western values and interests. Even fools would find it difficult to create such a mess, yet Obama did it without breaking sweat.
Although the damage is done, catastrophic and irreversible, America should as you say declare victory and butt out.
Of course not.

On a more serious note where have all the terrorist gone to? Or was it a quick chnage of clothes, a shave and a new ID card? The action seems to be very quiet, only one "Turkish" soldier killed, no terrorist bodies, no children, no burning hospitals or schools. It seems the "Turkish" have mastered a new method of warfare.

A man who assisted young men to travel to Syria to fight has broken down in tears in a Sydney court as he described loving Australia and his regret at helping the wannabe jihadists.
Hamdi Alqudsi, 42, was found guilty last month after a jury heard he had organised for seven men to make a border crossing from Turkey and meet up with well-known Australian fighter Mohammad Ali Baryalei between June and October 2013.
Giving evidence about the offences for the first time, Alqudsi cried and said it wasn't fair he was put in the same classification as terrorists in jail.
https://teakdoor.com/images/imported/2016/08/1275.jpg
He said he should have stuck to taking donations for Syrian civilians through registered organisations and would regret helping the wannabe-fighters for the rest of his life.
“As an Australian I should have minded my own business,” the southwest Sydney man, who migrated from Palestine with his family as a child, told a NSW Supreme Court in Sydney on Wednesday.
“I love Australia, I always have.”
Alqudsi faces a maximum 10 years for each of his seven counts of providing services with the intention of supporting hostile acts.
He told the sentence hearing he never encouraged the “boys” to go to Syria and that he doesn't know how many of those who made the border crossing are still alive.
He said they all sought him out and expressed a desire to head to the country to protect civilians from government forces.
His trial heard a large cache of intercepted calls, including one where Baryalei described the horrors of battle and people being stuck in a tank as it repeatedly exploded.
“You knew these men were going to be out in the fields of Syria engaging in warfare,” prosecutor David Staehli SC said on Wednesday.
“Yes,” Alqudsi replied.
At least two of the men Alqudsi helped have been widely reported as dead.
He told the court he met one of the presumed-dead men, Tyler Casey, at a court appearance for his wife Carnita Matthews, who eventually won an appeal against a conviction for making a false statement that a police officer tried to remove her face veil.
The court heard he met four of the other men at a Bankstown mosque, which no longer operates.
A sixth man was a friend he made while studying a Bachelor of Islamic Studies through Charles Sturt University and he had only spoken to the last man on the phone, the court heard.
Baryalei was fighting with Jabhat al-Nusra, also known as the al-Nusra Front, when the first men arrived in Syria but he later changed allegiances to what was then Islamic State.
Alqudsi told the court he thought, at the time, that IS would help civilians and was happy to see the young men go to a group that would strictly observe their religion.
One of the men Alqudsi assisted was stopped at Brisbane airport as he tried to leave the country.
The sentence hearing continues.

US 'Kills' IS Leader Abu Muhammad Al Adnani In Syria Airstrike
Abu Muhammad al Adnani, the group's chief propagandist, urged jihadis to carry out attacks on the United States and Europe.
https://teakdoor.com/images/imported/2016/08/1398.jpg
Islamic State's official spokesman, Abu Muhammad al Adnani, has reportedly been killed near Aleppo in a US airstrike.
Quoting a "military source," the Islamist group's Amaq News Agency reported the jihadi was killed "while surveying the operations to repel the military campaigns against Aleppo".
A US defence official said it carried out an airstrike in Al Bab, Syria, targeting al Adnani but stopped short of confirming his death.
The militant was identified by the US in 2014 as a Specially Designated Global Terrorist and senior leader for IS and a reward of up to $5m was offered for information that would lead to him.
He had been one of the last remaining members alive of the original group that founded IS, along with the group's self-appointed caliph Abu Bakr al Baghdadi.
As head of external operations, he was in charge of attacks overseas, an increasingly important tactic for the group as its core Iraqi and Syrian territory has been eroded by military losses.
The US State Department declared him to be "the main conduit for the dissemination of IS messages."
A Syrian originally from Aleppo, al Adnani pledged allegiance to Islamic State's predecessor al Qaeda more than a decade ago.
According to the Brookings Institute he was once imprisoned by US forces in Iraq.
In 2014 he issued a statement calling for the killing of non-Muslim citizens of coalition governments engaged in the fight against Islamic State.
In May 2016 he issued a statement calling for the execution of so-called lone-wolf attacks in countries preventing jihadis from travelling to Iraq and Syria to fight alongside the Islamic State.
"If the (governments) have shut the door of hijra (emigration to the caliphate) in your faces, then open the door of jihad in theirs," he said.
Al Adnani, whose birth name is Taha Sobhi Falaha, was reportedly wounded during an airstrike in the Iraqi town of Barwanah in January before he moved to Mosul, Islamic State's de facto capital in Iraq.
Sky's Middle East correspondent Alex Rossi said: "We know that the Americans wanted this man and they wanted him badly.
"This is a major setback for the group which is losing territory on an almost daily basis."
a complete waste of time,
reminds me of the Romans who thought that killing Christians would put an end to that religious movement
and here, 2000 years later :)
