Why drag the thread down, you silly old codger. The theme currently under debate is why are Americans so lethally stupid and reckless with their lives and particularly those of their children.

Americans are no more or less stupid than any of their European counterparts, actually we are you.
What is stupid , or actually an anachronism, is the polarization of the two party political system that does not allow for real change.
Most of these politicians are not stupid. You do not get to play at that level by being stupid.
They know what need to be done, but are unable to do so and survive with in the political environment they belong.
This holds true for Republicans and Democrats.

Well...... They don't want them to happen but don't kid yourself when it does the money train leaves the station. They hop on private jets and helicopters to be the first one to report it. I absolutely despise the media. I always like Don Henley's "Dirty Laundry" song. Lots of truth in it.

But its a combination of actions that have to happen to begin to curb these tragic events. Better gun purchasing control, Better ammunition control and Professional media constraints and control.

Anyway, This will be my last post in this thread. Its all senseless killing and why do they do it? They set the stage with a few posts on social media to get the hype started, then go execute their killing spree and get their 5 minutes of fame.
