Par foe the course for him. It's easier to throw shit around than actually get pulled up on it and explain. Like OhOh, he adores Russia/Putin, China/Xi, NK/Kim ad salutes them for whatever stunts they pull off and happily criticise the 'west'. The biggest difference is that in the 'west' we criticise our own system/government/leaders and others.

Oddly enough neither Klondyke nor OhOh seem to want to live back in the old country. I guess China and Russia aren't that attractive when faced with living there again

Just many years ago I had spent a week on a tourist trip to Moscow and Leningrad, seeing on my own eyes how the people live. Many years ago I had a family friend who was a member of the Labour party and a hardline Communist. She never had a bad word to say about the old Soviet regime, but would never consider living there, funnily enough.

"Systems" are different. They are not "equally flawed".

The difference is that some "systems" improve their own and their "partners" foreign citizens lives, measured in many ways.

Whereas others actually, joyfully, boastfully, state they work for a select few.

Factually destroying their own and foreign citizen's lives. Slaughtering them, destroying their cities and homes, destroying employment, starving citizens of water, food, education, health services, .... because they believe their actions are "worth it" and because those affected will not immediately, "bend a knee". Whilst stating they are protecting "human rights".

Hence the actual, factual, delivery of normal improvements, rather than boastful broken promises/civil destruction, to me indicates a progressive "system".

    IMHO.

    My interpretation of your allegation.

Here is one definition of "Godwin's Law".

Confirm if it is in compliance with your understanding.

    "
an Internet adage asserting that "as an online discussion grows longer, the probability of a comparison involving Nazis or Hitler approaches 1".

    Godwin's law - Wikipedia

Here is an list which allegedly indicates Hitlers approaches:

Hitler's Actions That Led to WWII

    1. Hitler announces he will not obey the Treaty of Versailles.
    2. Hitler bullies Austrian leaders into accepting Nazi rule.
    3. Hitler demands to be given the Sudetenland - the part of Czechoslovakia where a lot of Germans lived.

    September 1, 1939

    • WWII begins with the invasion of Poland
    • In less than one month, Poland loses the fight against Germany

    blitzkrieg = "lightning war"

    • swift, sudden military attack
    • Usually combines air and land forces

    France and Britain

    • appeasement was over
    • declared war on Germany, but couldn't do much to stop them

    Hitler's next move

    • After the war began, he invaded many small nations of Europe

    France

    • next large country to surrender to Germany
    • June 1940

    4. Hitler invades Poland which triggers the start of World War II."

I suggest ameristan and it's vassals have used and continue to use, Hitlers play book, 100%.

    1. ameristan + vassals announces it will not obey the 2015 Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action it signed
    2. ameristan bullies x, y, z ..... leaders into accepting it's rule.
    3. ameristan demands to be given Iraq, Palestine, Libya, Venezuela, Syria ....

    • WWx begins with the invasion of Iraq, Libya, Syria ....
    • In less than one month, Iraq loses the fight against ameristan + vassals

    blitzkrieg = "lightning war"

    • swift, sudden military attack

    ameristan + vassals

    • appeasement was over
    • declared war on Russia, China, Iran, Libya, Syria, Afghanistan, Venezuela but couldn't do much to stop them

    ameristan's next move

    • After the war began, ameristan sanctioned/invaded many small nations

    4. ameristan threatens Russia, China, Iran, Syria, Iraq, Venezuela, which triggers the start of World War III."

Care to illustrate, with factual links, when Russia/China have undertaken such actions?

Russias Navalny in coma in ICU after alleged poisoning

Russian opposition politician Alexei Navalny is in a coma and on a ventilator in a hospital intensive care unit in Siberia after falling ill from suspected poisoning during a flight, his spokeswoman said Thursday morning.

The 44-year-old foe of Russia’s President Vladimir Putin felt unwell on a flight back to Moscow from Tomsk, a city in Siberia, Kira Yarmysh said on Twitter.

She said the plane made an emergency landing in Omsk, Siberia, and that Navalny was suffering from “toxic poisoning.”

“He is in a coma in grave condition,” she said on Twitter.

She also told the Echo Moskvy radio station that during the flight Navalny was sweating and asked her to talk to him so that he could “focus on a sound of a voice.” He then went to the bathroom and lost consciousness.

Yarmysh said the politician must have consumed something from tea he drank earlier in the morning at an airport cafe before boarding the plane.

“Doctors are saying the toxin was absorbed quicker with hot liquid,” she tweeted, adding that Navalny’s team called police to the hospital.

Russia’s state news agency Tass reported that the politician is in grave condition, citing the chief doctor at the hospital.

Last year, Navalny was rushed to a hospital from prison where he was serving a sentence following an administrative arrest, with what his team said was suspected poisoning. Doctors then said he had a severe allergic attack and discharged him back to prison the following day.

Navalny’s Foundation for Fighting Corruption has been exposing graft among government officials, including some at the highest level. Last month, he had to shut the foundation after a financially devastating lawsuit from Yevgeny Prigozhin, a businessman with close ties to the Kremlin.

Belarus’ authoritarian President Alexander Lukashenko accused Navalny last week of organizing unprecedented mass protests against his re-election that have rocked Russia’s ex-Soviet neighbor since Aug. 9. He did not, however, provide any evidence and that claim was one of many blaming foreign forces for the unrest.

Like many other opposition politicians in Russia, Navalny has been frequently detained by law enforcement and harassed by pro-Kremlin groups. In 2017, he was attacked by several men who threw antiseptic in his face, damaging one eye.

The most prominent member of Russia’s opposition, Navalny campaigned to challenge Putin in the 2018 presidential election, but was barred from running.

He set up a network of campaign offices across Russia and has since been putting forward opposition candidates in regional elections, challenging members of Russia’s ruling party, United Russia.

In the interview with Echo Moskvy, Yarmysh said she believed the suspected poisoning was connected to this year’s regional election campaign.

Vyacheslav Gimadi, a lawyer with Navalny’s foundation, said the team is requesting Russia’s Investigative Committee open a criminal probe.

“There is no doubt that Navalny was poisoned because of his political stance and activity,” Gimadi said in a tweet on Thursday.

Navalny is not the first opposition figure to come down with a mysterious poisoning. In 2018, Pyotr Verzilov, a member of Russia’s protest group Pussy Riot, ended up in an intensive care unit after a suspected poisoning and had to be flown to Berlin for treatment. Opposition activist Vladimir Kara-Murza was hospitalized with poisoning symptoms twice — in 2015 and 2017. Both said they believed they were poisoned for their political activity.

Putin proposes election non-interference pact with US
    25/09/2020

Russian President Vladimir Putin proposed Friday concluding a pact with Washington against interfering in one another's elections and internal affairs, just weeks before the US hosts a divisive presidential vote.

Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov read out Putin's statement in a video released by the ministry, while the Kremlin chief was visiting massive military drills involving China and Iran in southern Russia.

Western countries have for years accused Russia of using hackers and internet trolls to sway the outcome of elections, and US intelligence officials have said that Moscow is once again manipulating social media in favour of Donald Trump as it did in 2016.

Putin's proposal for a non-interference pact in cyberspace came amid Kremlin accusations that Western countries are mounting a "disinformation" campaign against Russia over the poisoning last month of opposition leader Alexei Navalny in Siberia.

In his statement, Putin called for the two countries to "exchange guarantees of non-interference in each others' domestic affairs including elections," and particularly noted the use of "information and communication technologies".

He also called for a global pact agreeing not to use such methods to deal "the first blow" in conflicts.

"One of today's major strategic challenges is the risk of a large-scale confrontation in the digital field," the Russian leader said.

"A special responsibility for its prevention lies on the key players in the field of ensuring international information security," he added.

He also suggested that Moscow and Washington strike a deal to prevent cyberspace incidents, comparing that to a 1972 Soviet-American agreement to reduce the possibility of an incident at sea or in the air and an escalation in tensions.

He added that dialogue should be restored between Russian and US officials on key issues of international information security.

Professional dialogue should not become "hostage to our political disagreements," Putin said.

US President Donald Trump last week attacked his FBI director Christopher Wray for highlighting the threat posed by Russia in the upcoming November 3 election.

Trump, whose campaign had murky ties to Russian operatives offering assistance during his 2016 victory against Hillary Clinton, has repeatedly criticised his intelligence officials who consistently say that Moscow still poses the chief danger.

In addition to interfering in US politics, a hacking group believed linked to Russian intelligence services was accused by British officials of trying to steal information on coronavirus vaccines.

The British government this year also accused "Russian actors" of seeking to disrupt the 2019 general election by circulating leaked trade documents between London and Washington.

    - 'Disinformation campaign' -

Lavrov said Friday that over the past few years Russia has been accused of undermining US elections and "the entire domestic political system."

"As we've repeatedly said, there is no basis for such statements," he added. "We are in favour of professional and constructive discussion of all existing problems" through negotiations, Russia's top diplomat said.

The Kremlin has repeatedly brushed off all allegations of election meddling and interference and instead accused Western leaders of waging a disinformation war against Russia.

This week, its foreign ministry accused European countries of "unleashing a massive disinformation campaign" over the poisoning of Navalny, whose allies say he was targeted with Novichok in a state-sanctioned attack last month.

Labs in Germany, France and Sweden have said they confirmed that the 44-year-old anti-corruption campaigner was poisoned with the Soviet military-grade nerve agent.

    Top idea.
Not that such a thing between decent folk should be necessary of course.
Maybe the Molotov-Ribbentrop pact could be used as a model.
    That worked out really well.
