I haven't seen much of this chap, but when he says stuff like the major corporations should pay some tax instead of the burden falling upon the lowest earners, well it's hard to disagree.

The US and Europe situation is just insane - there simply is no democracy left, and federalism is well on the way to turning us into a Maoist/Stalinist era. Who do you look to for a better future, a way out? Russia? China? Something has gone very wrong when the Chinese version of democracy starts to offer more than the European version...
How do I post these pictures???

If they're sexually active, then yes. It's better to be a healthy and childless teenager than a fat teenage mum. Unless you're a member of a particularly weird religious sect, that hardly seems controversial.

Quite agree but the original issue was the parents were not notified their little snowflakes were fitted with these devices. These kids are only 11 or 12 yrs old and a parent should be part of the equation.

That's probably because it's bollocks. You've been reading Breitbart again eh?

Martin said the KKK was created by the Democratic Party. He acknowledged he was wrong.

Historians say the KKK consisted of a group of Southern whites after the Civil War who were Democrats. But there’s no evidence the KKK was created by their political party.

It should also be noted that the anti-black Democratic Party of the 1860s and 1870s bears no similarity to the party of today.

Recognizing that Martin has expressed regret for his statement. We rate his claim False.

History has it that along with loosing the war, many Southerners lost their family farms due to the new Federal Government seizure of lands held by southern war contributors as well as numerous other outright land grabs during the reformation years. Carpet Baggers were notorious in their efforts to confiscate and brutilize the white southerners. The KKK was formed out of such frustration and illegal actions. Race became the calling card of the KKK as many of the properties were turned over to blacks who once were sharecroppers of the confiscated lands or were innocently named as owners by unscrupulous Northern Government agents.

I seriously doubt the article pertaining to the Democratic Party being formed by the KKK, but no doubt about it that it did have numerous members from the KKK right up into the the 1990's. Perhaps there still are members in the congress as there perhaps are members of the Black Panther Party as well...

    Ya think?

Majority Whip Steve Scalise says he abhors hate groups, but acknowledged on Monday that he may have spoken at a white supremacist conference led by the notorious former Ku Klux Klan leader David Duke in 2002.

That's may have spoken not actually knowingly spoke Hairy? Poli-speak for gotcha in my book...but then who isn't a liar these days or a bigot? Seems to be a lot of race cards being tossed around from all sides these days and lines are further blurred from the actual facts...wonderful innit?

What's Haillariously's take on Mexicans btw? This one ought to really be good for a few laughs.

Here Are 10,000 Reasons to Start Taking Bernie Sanders Seriously

Bernie Sanders is a self-avowed democratic socialist. The Vermont senator wants to elevate the poor and tax the rich. He wants the government to be big. In a nation as enamored of capitalism as the United States, beltway pundits would have you believe that the call for "political revolution" in Sanders' quest for the White House is irrelevant.
But right now, the crowds suggest otherwise.
On Wednesday, Sanders spoke in front of a crowd of nearly 10,000 people at a stadium in Madison, Wisconsin, according to CNN, making it the most impressive turnout for a candidate in 2016 so far.
"Tonight we have made a little bit of history," Sanders said, according to CNN. "You may know that some 25 candidates are running for president of the United States, but tonight we have more people at a meeting for a candidate for president of the United States than any other candidate has."
    Here's what it looked like:
Sanders may not be quite right when it comes to "that little bit of history." Ted Cruz's opening campaign rally at Liberty University in March addressed an estimated 11,000 students — but attendance was mandatory. It's safe to say that Sanders can claim the title of biggest organic crowd of 2016.
It's important to remember where exactly Sanders drew all the attention. Madison is a bastion of progressive activity in the Midwest, and the city is brimming with people who have likely been fond of Sanders and his left-wing agenda since well before he began his presidential run.
It's also not a city that has any bearing on his performance in the primaries beginning in February of next year. But as Jonathan Topaz notes at Politico, that's because Sanders's bid for the White House is also an attempt at sparking a broader movement:
Rather than single-mindedly chasing votes across New Hampshire and the 99 counties of Iowa, Sanders has instead embarked on a swing through the progressive heartland, designed to generate big crowds and a national liberal groundswell behind his candidacy. ... The idea is to barnstorm the nation's most progressive cities in the hopes of attracting field organizers, small-dollar donors and, most importantly, the kind of media attention that insurgent candidates are typically starved for.
It's a clever strategy — and perhaps the only strategy — for a candidate vying with a presumptive frontrunner who is earning half a million dollars every day of her campaign. Sanders hasn't been able to, and won't be able to, compete on the big-donor financing front with Hillary Clinton, and so he must must gin up support through grassroots networks. In that realm, symbolic victories and momentum are crucial for convincing ordinary voters to consider donations.
So far, it's working. The latest Quinnipiac University poll puts Sanders within 20 points of Clinton among likely Democratic caucus-goers in Iowa. That's a big disparity. But in May, the gap was 45 points

He's got a snowball's chance to make the Dem ticket, but if he does I'll back him the whole way. If Hillary and (Random Republican) are there in 2016, I'll just do a write in and call it a day.

Even if by some miracle Bernie becomes President, nothing will really change in the U.S. Those who are really in power have no incentive to actually reform anything, whether it be the tax code or govt spending priorities. Only a total economic collapse similar to the 1930's would shake things up sufficiently to enable reform.

But hey, single payer health care and a fair tax system is nice to dream about.

Clinton Says She Takes a ´Backseat to No One´Among Liberals

Do bellieve there's a bit of flop sweat in a statement like that.

"Hillary Rodham Clinton said Friday she takes a "backseat to no one" on championing liberal causes, presenting herself as a standard-bearer for Democrats as primary challenger Bernie Sanders generates large, energetic crowds.

Clinton addressed 850 people at an outdoor amphitheater at Dartmouth College, a last-minute venue change made to accommodate a larger audience. Days earlier, Sanders spoke before about 10,000 people in Madison, Wisconsin. The former secretary of state made no mention of Sanders but warned that Republicans would unravel President Barack Obama's policies if they recaptured the White House, including the repeal of his signature health care overhaul."

    Press Lapdogs Herded Like Sheep

Candidate Hillary Clinton was hit with some pretty tough questions at a campaign event in New Hampshire yesterday during a vulnerable moment while she was waiting to be served some ice cream. TheBlaze’s Oliver Darcy even reports that a photographer asked Clinton what her favorite flavor of ice cream was.

Clinton must have ordered her aides to make sure something like that didn’t happen again, and their bright idea was literally to herd the press into place with moving rope lines

Hard-hitting questions like "What's you favorite flavor of ice cream?"

...you honestly can't make this shit up - these people are basically just Democratic operatives with bylines.

Boone made the bold prediction that the President Barack Obama’s birth certificate, that was put out by the White House, will be proven to be a forgery by September 2014. He stated that it will be proven that the document was Photoshopped, which would be a high crime that could be investigated by Congress. While he denied being a “birther,” he said there were enough smoking guns that it should be looked into:

BOONE: What I’m going to predict here is by September of this year, the major smoking gun, which is a high crime, not just a misdemeanor, but a high crime, that supposed copy of the birth certificate that is displayed on the White House website as we talk, by many experts has already proven not to be not a copy of anything, of something that perhaps doesn’t exist, which is an actual birth certificate, but it is a Photoshopped fraud created to look like what they wanted it to look like.

Ever wonder why the Lamestream Media isn't reporting what 'ol Bernie says. The media can’t report what Sanders says because the positions he maintains would be laughable to average Americans. All they can do is report the size of the crowds.

Perhaps they don't report it exactly because it will resonate with average Americans. After all, the lamestream media is part of the corporate establishment.
