GOP Releases Hillary ‘Wrong For America’ Video 2 Days Before Her Do-Over Announcement

Wrong For America
The GOP has come out swinging at Hillary Clinton with a new video two days before Clinton’s re-do announcement speech in New York.
The 30-second ad, titled “Wrong for America,” is made up of clips from news coverage of Clinton’s sliding poll numbers, her disconnect with “everyday Americans” she wants to champion, and her exorbitant wealth.
The video ends with a final punch from Larry Sabato.
“They act like she is allergic to real people."

As I stated before its "Ignorance."
^So "G," man, why are you going to vote for HRC if she makes it that far?:)
Anyway, our old GOP diehards should be asking themselves- why are they looking such a forlorn cause? Why is the basically unexciting and 'same old same old' Hillary Clinton knocking all of their candidates out of the water? Wny can't the GOP even field a credible candidate- I mean, Jeb Bush even makes Hilly look exciting and relevant, and the rest are a bunch of clowns (given time, Rubio may turn into something).
The answer lies with themselves. The so called Tea party has destroyed the credibility of the GOP. Many, if not most, 'reasonable republicans' have dropped the clown party now, or just keep their heads down. Fake scandals, ridiculous conspiracy theories, a record of failure, racism, sexism, Debt, gutter politics, anti-science, losing wars, outright lieing to the public, political obstructionism, fellating Israel at the expense of America, and the Rich and big biz at the expense of everyone else (heck, the Dem's ain't much better there). And at the root of it all, a virulent allergy to Truth and Facts. Angry old white guys, increasingly marginalised and bitter. That is the picture the Republicans present to middle America.
I suppose, when you're at the bottom of the trash heap, the only way is up. Hopefully a new generation of GOP leadership (not yet seen) can lift the party back into broad relevance in coming years. But the coming defeat is well deserved. As I've mentioned several times, my politics have traditionallly been 'mildly conservative'- I was VC for the National party in Sydney for a stint during the 1980's. I would never vote for the current Republican party- and thus speaks much of middle America too. Much wailing and gnashing of teeth amongst the party faithful no doubt, but it doesn't change the fact- they have lost the Middle ground with their own clownish politics and antics.
So go ahead- try the old tired and true technique of slinging mud, as expected (in the absence of any substantive or relevant policy positions, or record of success). Cling to the old lies and gutter politics, and watch the public yawn and turn away, in droves. The boy that cried wolf, anyone? The GOP needs to urgently re-invent itself, and a good way to start would be to sideline the Teabag loonies.
You don't even have to read between the lines to see nothing of substance when addressing the issue of whether HRC has the qualifications to become POTUS based on her own so-called accomplishments which are negligible. All they do is point out she was married to Bubba, was granted a Senator's job from NY and held the position of Secretary of State which she screwed-up royally. Libya (amongst others) will be her Waterloo.
Bernie Sanders: Free Vacation For Everyone
Hey! That's a great idea!
https://teakdoor.com/images/imported/2015/06/618.jpg
Bernie Sanders has introduced legislation that would take America one large step closer to European social democracy. The bill would require all businesses with 15 or more workers to provide two weeks of paid vacation for all employees that have been employed for over one year. The requirement would even apply for part-time workers who work an average of 24 hours per week.
"This is already done in almost every other major country on earth," said Sanders in remarks on the Senate floor Thursday. "If families are overworked and if husbands and wives do not even have the time to spend together with their kids...at least for two weeks a year, people can come together under a relaxed environment and enjoy the family."
Goodness knows Americans are some of the hardest workers on earth, and hard workers deserve to have time off. But unfortunately, Bernie's tampering with the employer-employee relationship would have the same (unintended) effect as minimum wage hikes: while some would enjoy paid vacations, many others would find themselves out of work altogether, pushed out by hirers whose funds would be diverted to a lucky few. Bernie's bill would raise the cost of hiring and harm the very workers he aims to help."

Probably not a good idea then...:chitown:
Via The Center for Public Integrity:
"The 2016 presidential election has already unleashed more than $1 million in negative ads, according to a Center for Public Integrity review of federal campaign finance filings.
"Only 515 more days until Election Day. In the meantime, expect the price of presidential mudslinging to rapidly hit eight, then eventually nine figures, as the already crowded race for the White House escalates."
Most of the mudslinging so far has targeted Hillary Clinton.

BTW...to cover 15 employees annual two week vacation @$10 hour is only $12000 annually. If a company cant afford that than they should not be in business.
^ There's really not a lot to say or do until we know who will get the nod to run against her. I may vote for her and I might not ... depends on who the GOP candidate ends up being.
Seems that all we get are lists of accusations of scandals with no real meat on them. Why...? Because there is no meat, just air, hot air, blown from a tin hat fan paid for by the Kock Bros.Quote:

Not sure what the numbers are on voter suppression, but I'd bet it played a part in some districts. The Rethugs themselves know about this. They've bragged about its "success" in some elections. The congress is not a fair representation of the American electorate overall.Quote:

No I teach Spanish in Florida...relevance we might ask Hummer...Owned you say? So why exactly are you the standard bearer for HRC...certainly not due to any of her accomplishments which it seems even her own party cannot list, close friends or staff.
Why not run Bubba again? Oh that's what you're doing isn't it? Its not Hillary running is it in reality its the Ghost of Bubba that's really running this show and the antique Dem voters have fallen for the fake. 8 more years of Bubba, thats really what this vote is all about folks.
Without a doubt...

But as the GOP has lurched further to the right, the Dem's have claimed the middle ground. I don't see that changing under the current leadership. That is how you win a two party election.
Most of the GOP candidates are Tea party favorites (and no hopers), but it is almost certainly an 'establishment' GOP candidate that will win the nomination. Same with the Dem's, Bernie Sanders & Liz Warren may influence the discourse- but Hillary will get the nod, barring the unexpected. Boring.
I would say the main enemy of the Dem's is apathy, the main enemy of the GOP right wing radicalism. Boring vs Loony- boring generally wins.
Just curious Booners, did you PM Landreth and beg him to change the title of this thread? The title must rankle you as much as the title of the Ted Cruz thread does.
I'm not. As I said before, she sucks. I just dislike the politics of character assassination and the right wing philosphy that the end justifies the means. I would like the discourse to be about policy not hot air manufactured by extremists bent on doing anything, alleging anything to see her defeated.Quote:
