If it bothers you so much go there and run for local Govt. Effect change from within. Why should I care? I don't live in SF and even if I did these actions and more are being done by the democratcially elected representatives of the people - deal with it. Or would you prefer a dictatorship?

I disagree that SF or any other place should have the right to ban JROTC, although age limits are OK.

But I fail to see how this fits in with SF values. SF values are above all about tolerance- be it of gay drag queens, JROTC meatheads, or gay JROTC meatheads.

This just looks like left wing council meddling. I doubt JROTC will be banned in SF.

^Yeah, unfortunately, I put Coulter and Malkin in the same self-serving camp. Mind you, there are lots of other great true right wingers who are not merely spouting rhetoric, but actually believe it. You mentioned Ollie North - a true patriot.

I've always like Bill Buckley. Even Dennis Miller has a sense of humor and doesn't get caught up in the over the top BS. There are lots of good right wing spokesmen and women with credibility.
