I only mentioned seniority as one item on a list. OK let's make it a bit easier for you.
In an operating room with some serious surgery in the works.....we have a team of OR nurses, an anaesthetist, surgical assistants, and a chief surgeon...who would normally be a highly qualified and experienced individual in the field of surgery....
Each person is trained, qualified and hopefully very competent in their respective roles, but one person has to lead and make the critical decisions.....would that be ?the junior nurse or the chief surgeon? Bonus points for the right answer ENT....
It's like explaining how television works to some primitive tribesman, who has never seen an electrical devise....
