I don't accept that all government is corrupt, or that all politicians are all lying pieces of shit. A great many are not...but those who are get all the attention, and in much in the same way as the bad cop or the bad soldier, they damage the reputation of so many others. Guilt by association.

I often doubt official lines myself, but I don't dive into some fantasy world just because I think the official line has been treated with a bit of "spin", or that some information has been withheld. There are reasons for these actions, but unless one has seen this kind of thing from the inside it is no doubt difficult to appreciate the why's and wherefores.

Ah, that's because you're a government apologist, and probably think that only their governments are evil but yours isn't.

The sad truth is that ALL governments are evil, by their very nature, as they seek to dis-empower/disenfranchise the populace and control all trade and exchange to benefit the wealthy and powerful, for whom government work tirelessly.

The populace, on the other hand, the masses, are just oil for the wheels of industry, producing and transporting company owned consumables, consuming that which they produce and ensuring that the rich get richer and that the poor stay where they are, fearfully and blindly groping towards their end days along proscribed paths and channels, all in a sad dream of security or insecurity, depending on how far up the over-classes a*se they have crawled in their miserable 45 + years at the grindstone of industry.

Hell, they even think they're well off to have a yearly holiday and a day or two off a week. Pity the poor dabs, they know no better.

Meanwhile, those not in the pay of the overlords, those who by dint of free will, free thought and enterprise have also dodged the governmental inquisitions, quizings and coercions, the tax man, the bosses and other overlords (never had a "proper job"), and all social norms and have managed through self-employment to sustain themselves, lead an almost untrammeled and free life moving around the world engaged in their own version of reality and joie de vivre can do no more than to thumb their noses at society in general and especially the powers that be, feel sorry for the masses and continue with their most enviable lives, as some of us do.

All the while, governments heave and bully on, completely conscienceless and totally dedicated to their policies, powered by politicians who are largely in government for the perks they can get.

Don't believe for a minute that they're all idealists in government for the good of the masses, they're not, for government is an evil, but a necessary evil, and the duty of every man woman and child who values their personal and national liberty is to defend their country from its governments machinations.

Presenting her work at the British Psychological Society's Social Psychology Section in Canterbury, Karen Douglas said she asked 250 participants to rate their agreement in a range of conspiracy theories about MH370.

She also asked them about well-known conspiracy theories about 9/11 and the death of Princess Diana.

"We expected that people who believe in MH370 conspiracy theories would also believe in other well-known conspiracy theories," she said.

"However, we hypothesised that whilst variables such as paranoia, powerlessness and mistrust would predict beliefs in well-known conspiracy theories, variables such as the need for cognitive closure and belief in an unjust world may instead predict endorsement of MH370 conspiracy theories, where no official explanation exists."

Finding showed people will believe in conspiracy theories, even when there is nothing to react against. Instead they appear to form from a "self-sustaining world view composed of a network of mutually supported beliefs", a statement said. "They do not necessarily need an official explanation to react against."
