indeed, it's a valid point. So what if 911 was an inside job ? not a big deal in absolute terms, 911 was really an incident with a few collateral damage, nothing extraordinary. I do think however that it's an important political event in historical terms, so to know what happened and how far a government would go to manipulate the mass is quite significant in political science. I am more interested to be honest to know about the lies of the US government and how they manipulated information more than the actual naked truth.

The idea is to expose the US government and the GW Bush team for the frauds that they were. Who cares about those fucking planes, or those missiles, or how many were really killed, it's not really the issue. The real issue is the lies and how easy it is to manipulate the public.

In that regard, the Nazi government of 1933 is probably the most interesting thing to study after 911 deception and the US government lies.

indeed, and revealing the truth about 911 would only marginally accomplish that, but not significantly. The illegal Iraq war and Afghanistan have probably revealed more about the US government deception techniques than the 911 truth could accomplish. But let's not forget that Iraq is a byproduct of 911, and in that regard, it's still a significant event in political terms.
