The Nang-Yai wat khanon Enjoy the Nang Yai Shadow puppets at 'Wat Khanon': Located in Tambon Soi Far,about 5 kilometres from Photharam District Office,is the only place in Thailand that has preseved the art of Nang Yai shadow puppet plays. Here you can find about 330 of the puppets still in perfect condition



Nine-level waterfall Situated in Baan Pha Pol about 3 kms next to the Bor Khlung Hot Creek, the waterfall is hugged with natural beauties. The distance from the first level to the ninth is about 2 kms. Ideal for rest and relaxation.


Wat-Moang and Folklore Musuem Situated in Tambol Baan Moang, Amphur Ban Pong, the monastery houses a local museum with a large collection of art objects, ancient potteries and tools and an interesting ordination hall decorated with wonderful murals and paintings. Built in the reign of king Rama V of Bangkok in 1884, the temple and nuseum are daily open from 09.00-16.00 hrs for the public.


Ku Bua Ancient City Located in Tambol Ku Bua, Amphur Muang about 8 kms south of town hall, the city surrounded by ditches ever housed a great vihara of the Mahayana Buddhist Tradition. Only its base is currently left. The images of Bodhisattva found here was kept at Wat Khlong Suwankiri of Tambol Ku Bua.


Mural Painting in Kong-Ka-Ram Temple Located in Tambol Klang Ta Kot, Amphur Photaram the Mon temple houses an ordination hall decorated with beautiful murals depicting Lord Buddha's life.


Nong-Hoy Temple Situated atop Nong Hoi Hill about 12 kms away from town center, the temple houses a statue of hallowed bodhisattva Guan Im. Conveniently accessible by car. Very crowded on holidays.


Khao Bin Cave Located approximately 20 kms away from town center, the 5-rai-wide cave comprises eight small rooms with wonderful stalagmites and stalactites. Inside the cave is found a one-meter deep mineral pond.



Jom-Phol Cave and Botanical Park Situated on the Ratchaburi-Jombung route about 30 kms away from town center and not far from the Rajaphat Institute of Chom Bung Village, the 10-meter-high and 250-meter-deep cave, formerly named Tham Mucharin, is wonderfully decorated with stalagmites and stalactities. The royal monogram Chor Por Ror 114 of King Rama V of Bangkok on the cave wall witnesses his visit to the cave in 1895. In front of the cave is located a 38-rai botanical park. Ideal for rest and relaxation.
