    Imminent Flooding in Hat Yai?

I just got an SMS from my wife in which she said that she thinks the flooding is going to necessitate moving things to the second floor of the house.

Can anyone give me heads up on what the situation is in Hat Yai?

Tried to drive into Hatyai this morning - Ban Nam Noi is flooded and so is the Hatyai Technic (Na Suan) area. From Senanarong not passable for me. Friend of mine in Samchai has evacuated his cars to higher ground. The area I write is blocked by water from the hills, they're saturated and can't hold anymore any water.

Inner City was OK by 10:30 this morning.

Sorry can't get you a more detailed report.

    ^ & ^^

Situation is much better as of 16:00 hrs today, the road from Songkhla and the one from Sadao (border to Malaysia) are open again now and the inner City is almost cleared.
Went into town today - some water (and dirt) still left, but - unless another heavy downpour again the City is clear.

Will report again later - either tonight or tomorrow morning, stay tuned.

OK give me a tinkle (PM me and I send you my mobile number) once you are here - the last 2 hrs no rain - all quiet, let's hope it stays that way.
Singha is the name of my poison, as to the place: any place will do!

Very quiet night, no rains - at 08:00 in the morning some sunshine. Will be OK to travel as even the streets today are dry!

Cool, weather shows more on the way on Wed and Thurs but probably some clearing on Friday.

As long as the klongs don't overflow I figure I'm good.

11:00 AM< - still some sunshine, will help to dry out the hills - so they'll be able to retain again water!

3 Days no real rains - some areas on Sai Mai still flooded but traffic is no more restricted there. Back to normal I would say!
