    Tips on Hua Hin

I'm lingering here in Hua Hin on my way back down south.

Where is a good farang breakfast?
Where is a really good burger?

I found a fine little hotel near the center: Subhamitra Hotel.
But their breakfast leaves something to be desired.

Sunshine internet is a good service and the coffee shop across the street offers a fair cinnamon bun and attentive service.

    Any other helpful tips solicited.

The old Railway Hotel (now Sofitel Central) has a nice, but pricey buffet breakfast.

You might try Crawford's Pub for a burger.

The Hilton Hotel used to do a good breakfast buffet years ago, but last time I went there I was disappointed. Marriott is still the best - get yourself a Marriott Gold Card, and you'll get 50% off!

Burgers - they have both McDonald's and Burger King - but if you have a craving for western food, I can recommend the spare ribs at the American Restaurant at the Sailom complex (same building as McDonald's). Great margaritas, too!
Any error in tact, fact or spelling is purely due to transmissional errors...

Jungle Jim's do an excellent all day breakfast with proper bacon, not that crappy streaky stuff.

Walk past the entrance to the Hilton in the direction of the sea and take a turning on the left after Soi Bintabaht, JJ's has a sign out and is a couple of yards on the left.

Can't help you with burgers I'm afraid.
    Lord, deliver us from e-mail.
