    Villa in Samui

    I'm after a 3 bed with pool.

Anyone know any owners or good websites.

I need it for the last week of July, first week of August.

I dont wanna spend a fortune, around 5,000 baht a night would be good

I'll ask around for you but, although it's fairly quiet now, your dates match the start of UK and EU school summer hols.

Apologies for the delay but I only caught up with my pal last night. Although she manages dozens of villas in your price range they are all fully booked. Not only EU school holidays driving the market but many international schools have closed for summer already.
I got the impressio you would have been ok just 2 weeks ago.

Just the 10,000 baht taxi to the hotel now and you're sorted.

Good deal. From the sounds of it Bangkok Airways still have their Samui monopoly firmly under control.

Not the best time of year for Phuket.......

Weatherwise, Samui was the better choice.

My two kids coming over from uk for their summer hols

I shall be letting them run riot round charleys gaff at some point..Dont tell him that yet. ive ordered him some jaffa cakes though

    As for Samui vs Phuket.

Samui and its airport monopoly can go fuck itself.

Also show me a 5 star hotel in Samui for 3,000 baht a night.

Hired a car for peanuts for the first 2 days and last 2 days to put 2 fingers up to Phukets taxi mafia also( cheers AO), so a bit of touring, will also go snorkelling in phi phi and jump on a speedboat on a 5 beach tour.

I'll do a thread. Hopefully it doesnt piss down everyday

Your kids would have got a better deal from the UK to Thailand Dill, but I guess you knew that.

I was in Phuket about this time last year. It pissed down from time to time but not constantly.
Went snorkling at Phi Phi but the it was hugely disappointing, all the coral was dead and grey and fuck all life at all.

I'm gunna head to Samui in September.

Fly to Surattani, pick up a Motor, drive to Don Sak jump the car ferry and head over.

Haven't been back for 6 years. Havin Wheels will make all the Difference.

Plenty of nice spots away from the main Tourist ghettos.

I'm not Hi-So like Dill so no Five Star for My Handbag.

Sorry Darlink, you will love the rustic " Reggae Huts".

Cracking deal at 25 Baht per night.

    That is with Breakfast.

    That's very good going, Terrance.

I thought my 60 baht per night (back when you'd get 85 baht to the pound) for Charlie Hut on Chaweang Beach was a good deal, clearly I was robbed!
