    Thailand - Nightlife

    Hey guys

I'm traveling to Thailand (Bangkok, Koh Phangan, Koh Samui) in 2 weeks, and I have a few questions to those who've already been there, and are party amateurs just like me. I'm staying 5 days in Haad Rin because the night life is apparently amazing. I know there are mostly beach parties, but are there (in Haad Rin) some classy clubs where you can buy a table and get some bottles? Are there locals girls at the parties or is it mostly farangs? Do hookers/ladyboys usually stay away from those places? Same questions for Koh Samui, Chaweng. In Bangkok, what nice clubs would you recommend me that close late (3-5am) and are near Golden Mount? My budget is 950$ for 2 weeks (hotels + flight are already paid), is it enough, considering that I'm probably gonna party everyday (I wanna get a table maybe 2-3 times with a couple of friends, but I would usually buy my drinks at the store and drink before going into the club) and do activities like snorkeling, jet ski, renting quads and a few others.

Thank you for any help !

I'm not being funny mate but I've spent that in a night it's easily done
If your a young lad you might be able to bum your way around with that
If your an old ugly bastard like me you need to get more money if you want to do half the things.
Good luck with that one mate

Your budget is 2,400 a day. A bottle of Johnny Red is 2,400 baht in Climax, let alone any decent club in Bangkok.

You wont be partying everyday on that mate, unless your idea of partying is drinking Hong Thong from a hipflask whilst eating crickets sat in a Thai beer garden.

Whatever you do, don't buy any ladydrinks or ring any bells.

If i were you, i'd be thinking of partying every second or third day, whilst eating street food and tossing off on the non party days

Oh, and stay away from jetskis and scooters

Your budget is 2,400 a day.
Jezuus. That's a long hard slap in the face. 2,400 per day? Good grief. That's not a party budget, that's a scrimp and save budget, wondering whether you can afford a side dish with your rice. OP maybe able to look at people partying though.

And, although its been a while, Haad rin is mighty thin on rentable company. Which is just as well, as he could not afford it any way.

2,400 per day. Oh my lord.

    Yes.

If by 'partying' you mean you get pissed on the sniff of a cheap local beer and are back to your hotel in bed by 8:59pm of an evening.

In Bangkok, what nice clubs would you recommend me that close late (3-5am)
Probably but one evening their will blow, if you pardon the expression, about 1/3 of your budget.

General rules of thumb when holidaying?

1.Have a practice packing of your clothes. When finished remove half of them
    2. Do a very careful budgeting. When the budget is carefully worked out. Double it.

In your case borrow another $950 you will have more than twice the fun.
Better to think inside the pub, than outside the box?
I apologize if any offence was caused. unless it was intended.
You people, you think I know feck nothing; I tell you: I know feck all
Those who cannot change their mind, cannot change anything.
