Ao Nang and the Rayavadee, Railay Bay

just got back from 10 days island hopping in the south. first up is ao nang and a stay at the rayavadee in railay bay.

took a mid afternoon air asia from don mueng, 1500 bahts each, straight on with carry on bags, no hassle, great airline.
    offloading

150 baht bus from the airport into ao nang, nice tshirt

we stayed at a place called busaba guesthouse, quite nice 1200 baht a night.stayed in the bridget bardot suite.

was a themed place with all kinds of famous people themed rooms

    Nice one mate.

Don't mind Ao Nang, family destination void of sex tourists and a very nice beach when the weather is good.

In the high season the beach at the very far end near the cliffs is a stunner.Great spot to blow out the day, has a few bars and restaurants.

A large population of monkeys live there as well.

It's amazing how the place has exploded since being the boat to Raleigh embarkation point.

Any news on the evil man of Krabi? Have the police done anthing about the couple attacked by matschette wielding members of a motorcyle gang in Ao Nang?

She was pretty cheap for 150 but no need to call her a bus fella.

They're more along the line of the even more disgusting American hotdog, less "sausage"...

    Putrid food product.
Fast becoming almost a protein supplement in Thai society.

    Embarrassing.

If your bringing your wife and kids along its hard to beat for a family destination.

To get the great beach life you need to come in high season. Fantastic Day trips to the Surrounding Islands and if you crack good weather its a blinding day out.

Hire a car and explore the area. Lots to see.
