I can't remember the price, but it weren't much to do it on a longtail boat. You can barter the price at those little travel agents too.
The beach it didnt include was Railay Beach. I will have a dig through my album and put some pics on here, if you don't mind

I don't generally do organized tours as I dislike intensely being surrounded by lots of people but sometimes one must bight the bullet to see places.
Only other way is to hire a speed boat for the day, OK I suppose if one owns a Bank.
Anyway the surrounding Islands on a good day are world class.
at night, there was lots of flying foxes flying about, buggers to catch on camera
set in lush tropical gardens, very impressive, full of birds and animals

went for an all included dinner with free drinks, wine for the missus, i had singha
early nite as off to lanta in the morning
must say the bufffet breakfast was pretty good, i loaded out with salmon,lovely...

so your probably thinking that im a rich cnut, not at all, we got this free, missus deals with the rayavadee for work, and we got a complimentary stay, part of an inspection for her company, so cant complain

so heres our driver in the buggy making the sprint to transfer us to an express ferry to lanta, drove like a rally driver
so that was part one of our 10 days hopping around the southern islands, next up is koh lanta

I remember staying at Ao Nang in 1989. Wooden bungalows on stilts, with fans and squat toilets. Set around a lake at the foot of a limestone outcrop, just back from the beach. 120 Baht a night. My mate summed it up nicely: just spoiled enough.

daily and it's one of the most expensive in thailand, nice resort but you can get a nice room over at ao nang for $80 that's real nice
nah high season is too busy. Low season is the go and the boat trips run nearly everyday.
ko hong has an awesome beach
bor thor kayaking as well as thalen bay
khlong thom hotsprings and lagoon
phi phi and gai and poda island
low season u can get a 4 star room for 1000 baht or a little more
