    Diving In July?

Sorry, I try to prevent crossposting, but did not look around well enough before.

Could anyone suggest a good place to go Scuba-dving in the month of July? Preferably also with facilities for kids (9-10 years old) "bubblemaker" style. It seems that the sea is too rough in some places. Where to go and what to avoid?

    Thanks,
    Hans

The Gulf in July is a dogs breakfast as the monsoon passes through at this time of the year.

The dude could be lucky and crack some good weather but with my experience of this area in July I'd be giving it a big miss and head to a more reliable destination.

Thanks all. We did some diving around Tioman Island in Malaysia last year, which is also in the gulf. Is it more wild more north. And wouldit help to stay on the layside of the peninsula?

Pattaya does not have the best of visability but the conditions here do allow year round diving. It will be low season here in July so there will be some good prices to be had.
