I have some guests coming in from Singapore who are apparently pretty big divers. They asked me about good dive spots in the eastern Seaboard. SUGGESTIONS?

Very few. Think (and hope my geography does not let me down!). Koh Samet is nearest, but from what I have read, very poor diving (esp for keen dives).
Alternatives include traveling further to Koh Chang, reasonable, but fairly variable diving, not anything special to be honest (unless very, very, very lucky).
Other than that its back towards bangkok and dive in pattaya. Sometimes good, sometimes bad, always controversial for diving.
Hi, are there pics of diving sites??
Some of the smaller islands about 2 to 3 miles east of samet are ok, but nothing wowy.
I think there's a wreck dive out by Ko Chang, a Cambodia war ship sunk accidently.
Pattaya`s wrecks are a good dive, Khram and maybe the Kood, and of course the Hardeep in Samae San. All in the 30 Meter depth range. Hardeep can be a great dive with strong current, a drift on that Wreck is great (if you hit it of course). Mermaids is the only Shop going daily to Samae San.
Theres a few shipping containers full of bodies up around Sattahip/rayong would make for an interesting dive.
