Nothing to do with Thailand

Heres a few pics of the guys killing a few goat they just love it and argued over who was going to cut there throats. We had a few problems this well so the boys thought we needed a bit of help from allah and kill the goats in the cellar might bring us some good luck. They normaly dig a hole drop in the meat with a few layers of hot coals pile sand on it and wet the sand down on top so it doesnt suck air and hay presto 4 to 5 hrs later two tender goats

fuck cleaning got more important things to do like drilling wells instead of trying to look nice. Why would I want to put swivels on the control hoses just another bit of shit that could leak and its not a reqiurment here.

What was the goat killing in aid of?
I used to live in Turkey, we had a whole week of goat killing at Kurban bayram, I think it was after Ramadan.
Blood running down every street.

Nothing special just swapped some scrap for a few goats as just a bit of a moral booster for the crews
after ramadan (fasting) they have a big feast call eid. Last eid I tried camel for the first time not bad at all

I dont mined goat but I hate the way they hack them to bits here you end up with bits of goat hair and bone in your mouth sorter turns me off me food

a guy i know works for an indonesian shipping company and they sacrifice a goat onboard when they launch a new ship (i suppose a bottle of champagne is a no-no for muslims), or to bring good luck after some fatality onboard.

the knives used for the sacrifices are mounted and displayed on the wall in the company boardroom. i only found this out because i asked what those funny knives on the wall were all about.
