Super Cheap Business Class into KL from Athens

Skyscanner is throwing up some decent deals on Saudia from Athens for departures to SE Asia (KL / Jakarta)

I found a £620 RT or £395 OW into KUL on A320 into Jeddah then 787 flat bed into KUL. leaving this month.

OK, so it's dry and the inflight service isn't great, but if you want the extra space (and the 787 configuration on Saudia is one of the best biz class hard product in the skies) then this might be a deal

Athens is a great city for a short break. It's also cheap as chips this time of year, good 4 star hotels for 40-50 euros with lots of cheap onward deals to to and from all major European cities

10K Avios and £60 scored me a club BA ticket from Heathrow. Four hours to get as pissed up as necessary and sleep it off on the ground later. All in all seems a good deal to travel to Malaysia this month - £455 one way to KL from London with a couple of nights in Athens to drink Ouzo and dance on tables.

Dates and weird coffee

^ it's the cardamon. It's the key ingredient in Arabic coffee and Karak tea. Kinda weird when I first tried it, but I'm not unhappy when I am served it now.

Taking off behind the Emirates flight. That was £1350 more expensive though

Tesco and Makro don't have it, didn't bother checking BigC, some in my kitchen though I can't remember where it came from, maybe the Sikh super next to Gurudwara temple off 2nd Road.

Or do it the easy way, visit Lazada.

Overall an excellent flight. Transit in Jeddah was chaotic and a long walk but the lounge was adequate for a chicken biryani and a coffee.

the seat on the 787 onto KL was a proper lie flat pod. Way better than MH or TG. Excellent food and service too
