Please advise of knowledge about whether a Thai National can Bequeth in her Will real estate to a Foreigner in which she is married and what are the obligations. I read that it is possible for a foreigner to inherit but he must sell within 1 year to a Thai. Any information on this subject would be appreciated. Thank You

Foreigner’s Inheritance of Land in Thailand
If a foreigner inherits land, normally it will have to be transferred within one year to a Thai national. In the case that the land is not transferred, it may be subject to public auction.
