I have to go to Pattaya overnight. The last times I've been traffic is terrible and the place isn't what it used to be. I was considering staying on the Darkside, I've heard there's some decent fun to be had there, but I've also heard it's hit and miss. Does anyone have info or suggestions of places worth visiting?

Mabprachan Lake has about 10 bars dotted around it. Most are dead though.
To be brutally honest all the bars on the darkside are full of older Thai women I wouldn't touch with Luigi's dick:)
Khao Talo and Khao Noi are better alternatives but most those bars are dead too. Its nothing like the light side and mistly full of Brexited expats who stay at home drinking their own beer

there was a thread about the Dark Side bars a few years ago
the usual suspects, aka drunk LowToy, knew all the owners and will comment on them, and claimed he never touched any of those girls, yeah right :)
No girlie bars (noted) on the Darkside where I'm thinking to move, not far from Chaiyapruek 2.
