In a 17 year period where military spending never got close to $1 Trillion a year, they supposedly spent $21 trillion.

It loaded for me and what I get out of it is the Nation got the numbers from accounting firms hired to audit the DoD. The acccounting firms got their numbers from the DoD itself.

Then the firms gave up...the first paragraph of the Nation article:

The emphasis is that every single financial report compiled by the DoD is fraudulent and basically fabricated and they have pissed away to places unknown a figure which is not but close to $21 trillion. Gone Whoooosh.

What's funny is that just a little over two years ago the number was 6.5 Trillion $$ unaccounted for. How da fcuk did that balloon to 21 trillion in that short amount of time.

This is the point. They found 21 Trillion in bullshit made up bollock basically but they have no idea how much they have fiddled due to all accounts and book keeping being fraudulent and fabricated. Could even be more! They simply do not know, and no one has the balls to say "OK, enough is enough, you're all under arrest from top to bottom" which actually would bring a moments peace to the world.
